A beautifully finished, contemporary holiday home, this County Clare hideaway offers comfort as well as style. Sleeping five guests, the modern, three-bedroom cottage is situated in the village of Doonbeg, 6 miles from Kilkee. Well located for anyone wishing to spend time on the Atlantic coast, it is 2 miles from the beach at White Strand, with its rock pools and white sand. At Kilkee, there is another outstanding beach and you can also follow walking trails along the cliffs. Stock up on local produce while you are here, dine out and take trips out to Scattery Island to see if you can spot whales and dolphins. Ennis, 25.5 miles from the cottage, is also worth visiting for a day trip.

Enter to find an elegant lounge, with tasteful, understated decor and soft seating where you can settle for the evening. Light the wood burner housed in the elegant fireplace here on autumn and winter evenings and find a good film on TV. Glass doors in here open onto the garden. The kitchen/diner is another inviting space. This has a neutral colour scheme, with light units and work surfaces where you can prepare meals. There is a circular table where you can congregate for your holiday meals and a handy utility room. The bedrooms are all upstairs. These include a king-size with an en-suite shower room, a single, and a bunk bedroom for children. There is also a family bathroom.

The enclosed, courtyard garden is a superb space for enjoying the fresh air in the warmer months. There is a BBQ out here for cooking summer meals and furniture to relax on with a glass of something chilled.

A great house to enjoy your holiday in. Well equipped and maintained. Everything youll need or want is in the house. And if you dont know what to do in the evening, play a game. There are plenty in the cupboard in the kitchen.

Lovely house with everything you could use. The house keeper was fantastic and very friendly too when we checked in/out. A great location for exploring the coast and quiet.
