We really enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and private. The house itself is very comfortable and spotlessly clean A brilliant base to explore County Mayo. Jane was a star and was extremely welcoming and helpful.

Cottage is ok, biggest issue, no wifi, a basic requirement these days to plan days out, when I asked about the wifi, the owner said we read books, there is no books at the property! At best the phone signal is intermittent, useless for accessing the internet, best chance to make a call is upstairs, even then its in and out so be prepared to beRead more cut off.. No outside tables and chairs to sit in the sun. Sofa and armchairs, uncomfortable and useless for older people, it is very low to the ground and has very high arms, very difficult to get up out off, we used extra cushions to try and raise it up. Basic tv with a sattelite box but only a very few channels seem to work, Kitchen is well equipped as is the cottage in general.did I say No WiFi! Hide
