Offering stunning views over Dunmanus Bay and towards the Mizen Peninsula, the cottage is perfect for keen walkers discovering the Sheep’s Head Peninsula. Also known as Muntervary, this rugged headland encompasses the friendly town of Bantry (18 miles to the west) and the isolated Sheep’s Head Lighthouse (3.5 miles to the east) which looks out across the Atlantic Ocean. The cheerful village of Kilcrohane (3 miles) has some great places to eat and drink, as well as a gallery, a pier, a beach and a range of festivals throughout the year.

A few external stone steps lead up and into this cheery property, with all the main living spaces on the upper floor. Stepping inside, the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides a wonderfully relaxing space for you to settle back in after a great day out. Light streams into the lounge area through the sliding doors, making an ideal space to sit back and watch a film in the evenings. The dining table is perfect for sharing romantic meals which you can rustle up in the fully equipped kitchen area to the side. This floor also features a refreshing shower room and a beautiful bedroom with the main double bed, an additional single bed, original timber beams, wooden flooring and whitewashed stone walls. Please note, that there are some low sloping ceilings throughout the property. There’s also a handy utility room on the ground floor.
