This lovely four-bedroom holiday home, just 0.5 miles from the idyllic village of Schul, is wonderful for a family trip or holiday among friends wishing to explore south-west Ireland. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and dominated by the gorgeous Mount Gabriel, this is a highly scenic spot with plenty of opportunities for walks, cycle rides and pretty drives. Dreenatra Pier (4 miles) offers a tranquil wild swim spot, and the magnificent 12-arch Old Railway Bridge in Ballydehob (5.5 miles) is also worth the visit. You’ll enjoy wandering around this coastal town and harbour, perhaps popping in for a coffee or a bite to eat locally.

On the ground floor, a welcoming lounge, with double doors leading out to the garden, presents the perfect spot for relaxation after a busy day exploring. The modern kitchen/dining room comes with a handy breakfast bar for snacking, as well as a dining table. Completing this floor is a utility room, a games room with table tennis, plus one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Head upstairs to the first floor to find a second lounge boasting fantastic views from its dual-aspect windows. With sofas and an open fire, this is wonderful for getting all cosy on chilly evenings. A second double with an en-suite Jacuzzi and a shower room are also located here. The two twin rooms, each with en-suite shower rooms, are up one more flight of stairs. The property has oil fired central heating.

In good weather, the enclosed garden is fantastic for spending quality time with loved ones, with a lawn space and swings for children to enjoy. There’s a patio with furniture and a BBQ for fresh-air feasts with lovely views all around you.
