It is the perfect base for a relaxing family holiday in the undulating County Clare countryside. Lahinch (2.5 miles) is hugely popular with golfers and water sports lovers, and a host of natural attractions, including Burren National Park, are within 15 miles. The vibrant town of Ennis is 17.5 miles away.

I felt so lucky to find this little gem of a holiday home in Ennistymon where I have lots of relatives. I was visiting from Australia and wanted a place that I could stay with my husband, brother and sister. It was well equipped with a large kitchen we could congregate in with family visitors.
