Harbour Heights is a wonderful ground floor apartment enjoying an elevated position with extensive views over the beautiful harbour in Ilfracombe, Hillsborough, Lantern Hill and out across the Bristol Channel as far as the Welsh coast. Top quality renovations in an up to date contemporary style blend beautifully with the charm and elegance of this delightful Victorian terrace. The spacious open plan living/dining area has large windows to enjoy the spectacular views. Luxurious leather sofas go well with the oak style flooring and glossy modern kitchen which is very well equipped.  The two bedrooms are presented with panache and share a top of the range modern shower room. There is a small courtyard at the back and there is an allocated parking space directly in front of the apartment. Harbour Heights is a short walk from Ilfracombe town centre and harbour area, which has a wide choice of shops, restaurants and bars. Outdoor activities available include coastal walks, a variety of boat trips from the pier including one to the dramatic Lundy Island, the popular Tunnels Beaches and seeing a show at the eye-catching Landmark Theatre. Lundy Island has a population of less than 30, which includes a warden, ranger, island manager and farmer, as well as bar and house-keeping staff. Most live in and around the village at the south of the island. In a 2005 Radio Times opinion poll, Lundy was named as Britain's tenth greatest natural wonder. The entire island has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and it is managed by the Landmark Trust on behalf of the National Trust. Ilfracombe has a delightful mix of Victorian and Regency architecture, pretty harbour, independent shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. The harbour, along with Damien Hirst’s bronze statue Verity, is just a few minutes walk away along with the award-winning Ilfracombe Aquarium, fascinating Ilfracombe Museum, Larkstone Leisure Park, Hele Cornmill and Chambercombe Manor - one of Britain's most haunted houses. In fact there’s so much to do on the doorstep, that you may not even need to get in the car.

The apartment was great all we wanted.. modern.. clean. . location.. cost...I couldn't not fault any think. About the apartment..I know from reading others reviews parking bit tight but we was ok .. the walk up the park area was not easy very high but if you turn right or left easy walking more flatter

We had a lovely stay with our 2 dogs. It was homely, clean, spacious and in a great location. Parking is difficult in Ilfracombe so, although tight, it was very valuable to have a space in front of the apartment. The outdoor space is small and at the back so there are no views. It was nicely presented though. Just a 10 minute walk down, through theRead more park, bring you to the lovely harbour of Ilfracombe. Would happily stay there again. Hide

We had a wonderful stay at Harbour Heights. The parking can be a little tight but the parking space itself had substantial room and was enough space for our LandRover. From the living room there is a beautiful view of the harbour and the location is great - a short walk to shops, restaurants, pubs etc. The steps down to the harbour are very steepRead more but there are alternative routes. The apartment itself felt spacious and was clean and decorated beautifully. We have two teenagers and the back bedroom contained two single beds which seemed quite big and they had access to the outdoor area which is completely secure so our dog could wander in and out too. The kitchen had everything we needed, the shower was wonderful and the beds were super comfy too. Our dog enjoyed his morning walk down to Hele Bay and Putsborough and Saunton Sands were not too far away in the car. We would love to return to this apartment some day! Hide

Such a beautiful apartment and a great size for a family of four. The view from the front room window is stunning and place has everything that you could possibly need. The walk back from the town is up quote a steep hill but we all came back a bit fitter than when we arrived.

Excellent accommodation. Beautiful views and a lovely place. Loved the comfort of the beds and that we werent overlooked by anyone. Bathroom was beautiful. Loved the outdoor area. Although I thought it looked out to the view from the advert. But it was safe and enclosed for my dog. Would return again.

This is a beautiful well equipped apartment, possibly one of the best I have stayed in. Yes there is a steep hill to get to it and parking is challenging but its North Devon and therefore typical of that area. For some the parking might be a challenge if its a 4x4 but my Cactus was perfect. The apartment is wonderful. The only draw back was the neaRead morerest grass area was just across the road and as my little dog refuses to go on concrete it proved a challenge for her and me. There is always a solution and we solved it, but dog owners need to be aware of that. The location and views were wonderful, despite the dreadful weather. The apartment was decorated beautifully for Christmas and we had booked Christmas lunch in the Carlton hotel and it was first class. I would have no hesitation in rebooking. Thank you Hide

Ideally located to explore North Devon. Picturesque views over the harbour, however it is a climb back up through the park with amazing views or easier incline by the roadside footpath. Fully equipped and well maintained, clean apartment. All our needs were met.

I loved the place but the parking was a nightmare and extremely tight, please make sure this is listed for potential holiday lets because it put me off at this particular property !
