This is a detached property set within a large garden, close to the beach and with lovely views, making it a relaxing destination for families or small groups of friends. There are two excellent golf clubs within 2 miles, and the vibrant village of Waterville is just 1 mile away. The only seafront village on the famous ‘Ring of Kerry’, Waterville is known as the seafood capital of Ireland, and boasts a variety of excellent restaurants, as well as friendly pubs and a sprinkling of shops. On offer are all kinds of outdoor activities, from angling to pony trekking, and at night you can enjoy gazing at the stars in the northern hemisphere’s only silver-rated Dark Sky Reserve.

A reverse-level design means that the living areas on the upper floor of this two-storey property make the most of its wonderful views. Both the lounge and the kitchen/diner have areas of sloping ceilings, and are decorated with bright, modern art. The comfortable lounge has a wooden floor and an open fire, while the bright kitchen/diner includes everything you’ll need for holiday cooking. There’s a handy WC on this floor too, while the three bedrooms are downstairs. They comprise a king-size with an en-suite bathroom, and two twins sharing a family bathroom.

Outside, the expansive lawned garden is partially enclosed and includes a patio area furnished for enjoying the fresh air and sunshine, the perfect spot for morning cuppas and al fresco dinners.

Nice and spacy cottage well for up to 6 persons. There is a water pump which is quite noisy. Not really a problem but good to know. The property needs a bit more attention and maintenance to remain a nice and valuable location.
