Situated 3 miles from the village of Kells and 7 miles from Ballymena, it sleeps five guests across three bedrooms and sits in rural surroundings ideal for those who enjoy walking and cycling. Antrim and the lake of Lough Neagh are 5 miles away. Here, you can visit the elegant Antrim Castle Gardens and Clotworthy House and spend time browsing in the shops and dining out. Venture 9 miles to the fringes of the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or 17.5 miles to Ballyronan Marina on the shores of picturesque Lough Neagh, where you can hire boats and enjoy water sports.

Return from your long walks and exciting excursions to relax in the comfort of this welcoming cottage. The lounge, with its comfortable seating and ornate period-style fireplace is the perfect spot for relaxing with a good book in front of a crackling real fire. The dining room features a second open fire and more soft seating, as well as dining furniture, where your friends and family can gather. The kitchen/diner has a country style and all the space and equipment you will need for catering for your party. The breakfast bar here is a great place to pause with a cup of coffee in the morning. There is also a utility room downstairs. The family bathroom is upstairs, together with two double bedrooms, one with a 4’ bed, and a bunk bedroom that can accommodate adults.

Spill out into the generous garden to play games with the younger members of your party on the grass. Cook outside on the BBQ on warm evenings and dine together on the patio under the stars.

Overall our stay was very relaxing and the very good weather helped!! Beautiful location with main access roads near enough, but not too near that they spoiled the location.
