This pleasant home in a countryside setting is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday for a family or a group of friends looking to explore the Lakes of Killarney. There is plenty of space for everyone to socialise and find a quiet spot in this lovely property. This scenic area has magnificent views of the Kerry mountains, and lovely lake vistas are all around you. Fishing is available on the Blackwater River, 1.5 miles away. Nearby, Rathmore (3 miles) is steeped in Irish traditions and is known for its culture, Irish music, and the ring fort that gives it its name. The lively town of Killarney (15 miles) is a walking town with plenty of trails to learn about the local history or visit Ross Castle. Nature lovers can head into Killarney National Park (13 miles), discover the beautiful landscapes, and enjoy walking, cycling, and canoeing. Hikers can head for the scenic views along the route up Strickeen Mountain (20 miles).

This attractive detached bungalow offers a warm welcome and homely feel. You can leave your cares at the door as you step into the inviting rooms. this property was very comfortable and had everything we needed . It was situated in a lovely spot with great views of the mountains . Mary was very helpful with information about the area and generous with milk , cakes and a bottle of wine . It was situated about 15km from Killarney .
