This cottage is in a lovely location. The Village is so clean and quiet and the people are very friendly. It's a real home from home, with everything you could need. The beds are really comfortable with lovely crisp white bedding and plump pillows. I'll definitely be returning. Oh and the view from the garden is stunning.

This is a lovely, comfortable, well-equipped cottage. Only a couple of miles from Richmond which is an interesting town with plenty of cafes and restaurants. Hudswell is a peaceful, friendly village with a lovely pub and local shop. Great walks to be had from the front door of the cottage (or the pub!). I would highly recommend and would love to goRead more back sometime myself. Hide

Excellent property clean and superbly equipped in a nice quiet location with easy access to the dales and Richmond. The only negative is the drive which is steep with a narrow entrance, could be a challenge for a large car, but parking is available on the road.

Lovely cottage, comfortable and very nicely furnished and presented in a great village with good pub. the layout was just right for two couples with room to enjoy both privacy and company..The area has a lot to offer in Richmond and surrounding area. Kiplin house was well worth a visit as is Barnard Castle. The drummer Boy walk was excellent.

A deceptively large detached bungalow in a lovely quiet village on the outskirts of Richmond with perfect views from both the front and back windows. Everything you need for a long weekend or week away relaxing in a modern and comfortable home away from home. There is a private garden overlooking fields to the rear which is perfect for familiesRead more or dogs. A friendly pub just across the road serving their signature pies on Friday and Saturday and roasts on Sunday, but make sure you book as it gets busy. Great cottage in a wonderful location with every amenity you could reasonably wish for. The owners had provided all essentials for washing as well as a welcome pack of tea/coffee/milk on arrival. Jigsaw and games were provided and a great selection of books so even if the weather is unkind there was plenty to help relax. Good WiFi and a smart TV. RRead moreeally great walks literally across the road for the dog lovers and the reasonably fit. Friendly pub across the road but only does food Friday and weekends. It was great to be close to Richmond and the facilities it offers but much more relaxing to be in a wonderful cottage on the very edge of the national park with amazing views across the Swale valley. This detached bungalow is set within the quiet village of Hudswell and has great views front and back. The domestic welcome pack with small quantities of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, and washing detergent is very handy.
