We visited Partridge Farmhouse for a week, with two families, with young children as well as older teenagers. There is something for everyone and its a very well equipped home from home. The views are stunning and theres good local amenities a short distance away. The owners also provide lots of information about local walks, pubs etc, which is helRead morepful. The garden is well equipped with a hot tub, BBQ, ping pong table, goal, badminton net and basketball ring. The garden is secure for the dogs/kids and feels very safe with barely any passing traffic. The home has so much character, with a beautiful log burner in the front room. I would highly recommend and would definitely return. Hide

We rented Partridge Farmhouse and Partridge Barn for a family Christmas holiday with 14 people there on Christmas Day and Boxing Day aged 2-91. The accommodation is perfect for a large group and is a great place for families. The properties are in a beautiful setting in the Devon countryside and both the Barn and the Farmhouse were very homely and Read moreeasy to relax in. Both are very well equipped and there was nothing that we felt was missing. There were also some nice touches including hot tubs which were very popular even on cold December nights and generous supplies of logs for the fire in the sitting room in the Farmhouse. They were also spotlessly clean and were very well prepared for our visit. Chris is an amazing host who was very welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. I could not recommend this place highly enough and it is excellent value. In summary a perfect stay! Hide

Lovely base for our group of five couples for a long weekend get together. The property was larger than we expected and had plenty of space for us all. The kitchen was well equipped and made cooking for 10 easy. We loved the quirkiness of the old building with uneven stairs and wonky floor levels in places but it may not be suitable for everyoneRead more if you have mobility issues. Also be warned that if you're very tall be prepared to duck in places to avoid some of the lower beans (one of our group is over 6ft 6 and had to do this in places!) There was plenty of wood at the property we could use for the lovely log fire in the living room. It was really nice of an evening sitting in there with the fire burning, chatting and playing games. The hot tub outside was also a lovely bonus and well used by several of our group. Chris the host was very quick and helpful in answering our few questions before we arrived. We would definitely recommend the property and be happy to visit again. Hide
