My wife and I have stayed at this delightful modern cottage several times in previous years. It is in an enviable location close to shops and restaurants, and with wonderful views across the pretty harbour. On our arrival there was a welcome pack which included milk, tea, coffee and biscuits.

Fantastic location. Best by far in the 4 we have rented in Porthleven. If the sea gets rough you will hear the Baulks, but for us not an issue. Weve been a mile away and still heard them. Great restaurants in Porthleven. Recommend you book well in advance.

Had a great week in Surf View. Its very clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable and the property had everything you could need for a break. Fabulous location right on the harbour with a great range of eateries within walking distance and surprisingly quiet in the morning, no noisy seagulls! Highly recommend.

We have stayed in a few houses in Porthleven and this was the best. Its been refurbished and was ideal for my mother in law who struggles with steps. Lovely view of the harbour where you can watch the world go by.

We had a wonderful stay and won't hesitate to book again. We felt the pricing was fair for a half term week, especially given the harbour-side location which is truly breathtaking. The property is incredibly well equipped and was to a good standard. An allocated parking space is available approx 5 mins walk (nr supermarket) if parking wasn'Read moret available at the harbour. So many convenient amenities literally on the doorstep of the property, not to mention the local feline legend - Reggie. The Square, Shoal Brewery and Ann's Pasty did not disappoint. Sadly didn't make it to the Mussel Shoal, so will have to return! We mentioned to owners wifi wasn't working. Worth checking ahead of stay if reliant on it for work etc. Not a huge issue for us personally. Hide

Cosy holiday home. Great underfloor heating downstairs. Didnt need to use the fireplace. Epic location and parking outside the property not a problem in December. Allocated parking a short walk away. Really enjoyed our week here

Its a fabulous cottage, in a great position. Cosy & clean, just got some noise from the harbour waves at night so bought ear plugs. Parking fairly ok but watch out for the concrete bollards. Both pubs are good. The Ship can be very busy later afternoon/early evening but lovely customers. The cafe on the other side of the harbour does great breakfasRead moret Hide
