Tucked away in seclusion, this stunning barn conversion has been refurbished to a high specification with spacious rooms and a well-designed layout. The open-plan living area looks out to the peaceful, countryside setting where you may spot a range of wildlife passing by. Centrally-located in the county, the village of Ladock is home to a pub and community store, meandering lanes and pretty hedgerows and is the perfect escape-from-it-all location. The Lost Gardens of Heligan (10 miles) is one of the most popular botanical gardens in the county, featuring a diverse collection of rare and exotic plants, historic features including walled gardens, glasshouses and sculptures. Spend a day visiting The Eden Project (14.5 miles), known for its iconic biomes, or head to Perranporth (11.3 miles) and enjoy the surf or walk the dunes and watch the sun go down from the UK's only bar on a beach.

With convenient access from the parking area, step through the front door into a generously lit hallway. Divided into two distinct sections, the left side unveils a spacious open-plan kitchen seamlessly transitioning into a convivial dining area and a snug living space adorned with a woodburning stove. The vaulted ceiling, complete with exposed beams, and the wooden flooring contribute to a contemporary ambiance. A delightful sunny nook featuring picturesque views and garden-access doors, accompanied by two comfortable armchairs, beckons you to enjoy a quiet morning coffee and a good book before the household stirs. The well-appointed kitchen offers everything you need for a home-like experience, with a doorway leading to the utility room—a suitable resting spot for your pet, equipped with a washing machine and a sink. Off the main hallway is a separate wet room. On the right side of the property lies the bedroom wing. Each of the three en-suite rooms boast super king-size beds that can be conveniently separated into singles, offering flexibility for your group. The soft furnishings in muted tones, plush carpets, and sumptuous mattresses collectively create an inviting environment, perfect for unwinding after eventful days exploring Cornwall.

The expansive garden offers picturesque views of charming countryside, adorned with trees and shrubs, alongside a generous lawn, there is also varied livestock and wildlife that roam nearby so we do ask that you enjoy the area responsibly with both children and furry companions. Experience al fresco dining on the paved terrace while immersing yourself in the soothing sounds of nature. Additionally, a second courtyard offers a more sheltered retreat, allowing you to bask in the sunlight during specific times of the day. Excellent property, lots of space and facilities. Isolated location but that is what we wanted. Small problem with plumbing noise reported to owner and fixed in a timely manner.

Absolutely stunning property. Like home from home.. kitchen fully equipped and everything spotlessly clean. Beach towels provided and towels & biscuits for the dogs. Lovely large garden which our dogs loved and great woodland walk. Only thing I would say is that if your bringing dogs there are a lot of slugs in the garden .. wasnt an issue for mineRead more as they dont touch them . Beds were very comfortable and bed linen lovely quality. Great location for both north and south Cornwall.. Good range of large supermarkets about 10 mins drive and a couple of local small stores closer. Highly recommend. Hide

We have been renting property in Cornwall for over 25years. The Lodge is without doubt the best that we, as a family of six, have ever had the privilege to rent.

The cottage was fabulous, very spacious, very good facilities. We had a lovely week using this cottage as a base for our travels around Cornwall. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and got us a new bbq when we needed it.

Really lovely extended barn conversion. Easily 5 star accommodation. The location is central for all popular places on both coasts. Boot/utility room and fully enclosed garden is very useful for visitors with dogs as is the farm's woods.

A stunning retreat and brilliant layout with three big bedrooms, all with en-suites plus an extra bathroom. Loved the main living space and the kitchen was great. Location was amazing, extremely quiet after a busy day and time to relax in front of the TV with the log burner on. What a great area to be staying, Newquay, Watergate Bay, Truro, EdenRead more Project, St Austell Brewery and lots of beaches all within 20-25 minutes drive, long time Cornwall and North Devon holidayers and being more central in Cornwall was the best idea ever. Highly Recommended. We would stay here again without a second thought. Hide
