Had a wonderful long weekend stay at Knights Cottage to celebrate a 50th birthday. The cottage is lovely; well equipped and plenty of room considering we were a party of 5 adults and 2 dogs. The lounge is spacious and was very comfortable for everyone with a gorgeous fireplace and great sofas. Kitchens and bathrooms very clean and high spec. BeautiRead moreful sandy beaches at Winterton and Sea Palling are a short drive away. The Lifeboat Inn at Sea Palling was great fun and very welcoming. In a similar vein, the Indian Kitchen takeaway from Repps with Bastwick was also amazing! A brilliant weekend was had by all! Hide

The thatched cottage is located in the beautiful village of Martham. It has a log burner that completes a full on day of activities. It has all the appliances you would need: washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer. The rooms are big and spacious and it has storage space for all your luggage. 3 toilets, 2 showers and a freRead moree standing bath is a bonus. There is a hose in the back garden which is very useful for rinsing down beach wear and a large patio set to enjoy the sun. In the village, there is a wonderful coffee shop, a Chinese takeaway, a kebab/Turkish restaurant, a couple of traditional pubs and two Co-Ops to name a few. The cottage is minutes away from a number of beautiful beaches-Horsey beach where you can see a colony of seals, Winterton on Sea, and Sea Palling to name a few. We also drove a boat with Simpsons Boat Yard which was 16 minutes away from the property. They were very accommodating and helpful, especially as none of us had ever driven one before. If you have children, you must go to Pleasurewoods Hill Theme Park which is a short car ride away. Hours of fun to be had. All in all, a beautiful staycation. The owner was very quick to respond to questions/queries and made sure things were ok. Thank you Mike for your hospitality. Hide

Beautiful well furnished cottage. Comfortable and spacious. Comfy beds and cool bathrooms. Loved the flow of the place. Perfect location. Winterton-on-Sea beach is a must, a little haven. The road is pretty busy but didnt bother us. Nice outside space. Would love to return.

Nice roomy cottage. Master bedroom is very nice and the other two are decent as well. Bed was very comfortable. Showers and bathrooms look fairly new as did the kitchen. The garden was smallish laid with pebbles & small patio area. Well fenced with high panel fencing, so secure for all but the most ardent climbing dog. The cottage is on a very sharRead morep corner right on the road, you would die if you had to use the front door! But it was built in the days of the horse and cart! There is a little road noise between 8-9am as there is a school just down the road. It is quiet at night. Really good access to nearby dog friendly beaches and the broads. Hide
