This house was the most amazing place to stay in the most perfect location. We really couldn't fault it. It was immaculately clean. The decor was to a really high standard whilst maintaining the character of a countryside property. The bedrooms were so comfortable, including the beds for a fab night's sleep and the bedding and decor. We partiRead morecularly loved the attention to detail of all the local.artwork dotted throughout the house and the interesting objects on display which just addd to the feel of the stay. There is a lovely stroll down to Ivelet bridge from the house which was great to do in the evening. This takes you onto Muker and beyond if you keep following the marked path. This was one of those houses that will always keep in mind for future stays and our 3 children immediately asked when we could stay there again. Thank you for keeping such a wonderful property, you have done an amazing job! Hide

The cottage is in a lovely location, wonderful views in every direction and within easy driving distance of several excellent pubs. Thea's cottage is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. Lots of puzzles & games available for 'staying in' days and rucksacks for 'going out' days. We really enjoyed a wRead moreonderful week. The only problem we had was the heating. The electric radiators are efficient in the kitchen/diner and bedrooms when they are on but we found they were not on for enough time, so we had to regularly switch them to manual. Also, the lounge definitely requires lighting the woodburner to achieve a comfortable temperature, this was a bit of a challenge for us as we had no prior experience with woodburners or open fires-luckily the internet came to our rescue!
