Wow, wow, wow. I genuinely dont even know where to begin. We genuinely enjoyed every minute of our stay at Willow cottage. Sarah is an incredible host. She has gone above and beyond to think of anything and everything someone would need when staying there. We got our food shop delivered and put the essentials on there (as it is self catering) but tRead morehe basic essentials are already supplied for you which is a lovely touch on arrival. We received a lovely little welcome pack on arrival. Again another touch that was above and beyond. The cottage was immaculate, spacious and like home from home. There was an information pack which is so detailed and contained everything we needed to know. There are also leaflets for local places to visit and take away menus etc. The kitchen is FULLY equipped! There is literally everything I could think of. Even down to some recipe books on the shelf! There is a games cupboard full of board games for any rainy days or chilled evenings! The bedrooms were spacious, have ample storage and the hairdryers were a nice touch! Towels were provided and they were fresh and fluffy! The land surrounding the property is beautiful and we absolutely loved going on welly walks as a family. We even followed the trail to Marden Village and met some lovely people along the way. We watched the sun rise and sunsets out in the land by the cottage. Absolutely gorgeous views. We even went out in the dark with torches to explore. (We brought our own torches but we neednt have as Sarah also had that covered with torches available in the property!) There is a rope swing, picnic table and a pod to sit in. The picnic table would be lovely to use during warmer, drier months. There was a small outdoor seating area which was lovely to sit under with a cuppa especially when it was raining. We will definitely be returning to again and we can see this becoming a family favourite. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. Hide
