A characterful cottage by the seafront a short stroll from Porthleven's sandy beach and bustling harbour (0.4 miles). The cottage enjoys sea views and benefits from a tucked-away spot yards from the steps leading to the beach. This picturesque fishing village boasts an array of delightful eateries with a range of menus often featuring locally caught fresh seafood. There’s unique boutiques and pubs nestled around the scenic harbour and incredible views when walking the coast path in either direction. Further along the coast is a great range of beaches to explore including Praa Sands (5 miles), Gunwalloe (7.5 miles) and Perranuthoe (7.5 miles). The market town of Helston (2 miles) has a pretty boating lake and café and hosts an annual, ancient festival in May called Flora Day. The magical island of St Michael’s Mount lies a short drive away (7.5 miles) and has the most beautiful gardens set across sloping terraces with a range of exotic species.

This captivating cottage is welcoming and homely with romantic sea views and convenient entry doors on both levels. The open-plan living area on the upper floor incorporates a cosy wood-burning stove for those cooler evenings in when catching-up with your favourite shows on the Smart TV. A contemporary, well-equipped kitchen space with dining table and seating allows for social mealtimes whilst making plans for the day ahead. Throw open the doors to the two Juliet balconies and breathe in the fresh, salty air and listen to the sounds of the ocean lapping against the sea wall. The bright shower room with walk-in shower is also found on this level. Heading downstairs there are two double bedrooms both with Emma Hybrid mattresses for your comfort and plenty of clever storage space for your belongings.

Step outside from the lower floor and unwind on the small terrace with its outdoor seating and sea views. The convenient outdoor shower, providing both hot and cold water, is ideal for rinsing off children and pets after a day of adventures. Additionally, a practical cupboard is available to store your beach essentials. If you fancy an evening stroll to watch the sun set over the water then this is the perfect spot.

This cottage has been renovated very well to a good standard. The stairs were a little awkward for me as an older person, my joints are getting stiff now. The cottage was warm and comfortable ( early April '25). Well furnished and well equipped, nice to have the balconies. The shower was efficient, again fitted to a good standard. Overall a pleasaRead morent and comfortable stay. Minor problem (new battery for fire alarm), this was fixed quickly by efficient and helpful support team. Hide

Great view and location , great walks and lovely restaurants close by . The stairs might be an issue if you have any mobility issues and parking was right outside.

The cottage is in a perfect location, a lovely stroll to the harbour but out of the way to be quiet in the evenings. Steps down to the beach virtually opposite made a great morning walk. However, the stairs are very steep and we were glad of a baby gate at the top to prevent our dogs descending them.

My wife and I, plus small dog, had a wonderful and relaxing stay here for the week. The cottage was spotlessly clean, with a lovely welcome cream-tea pack, as well a surprise beautiful vase of flowers! Very close to the beach and all that Porthleven has to offer, as well as the ability to sit and listen to the sea. Handy to be able to park on thRead moree road right outside for the week with a well equipped kitchen that allowed you to cook most things without having to go out and eat if you didnt want to. The cottage was very warm, especially with some starter logs supplied for the fire! We didnt have the best of weathers, but it didnt stop us enjoying our stay. We will visit again. Thank you. Hide

The property was spotless, we would like to thank the cleaners for doing a great job. The welcome pack was very useful too, we have stayed at other properties in Porthleven over the past 7 years and this is by far the best we have stayed in, even parking at the side give us no issues. We liked it that much, we have rebooked this for 2025. Many tRead morehanks Hide

A lovely property in a great location. Nicely renovated property in a clean contemporary style, with good quality kitchen equipment, furniture and fittings. Half a street back from the sea, we loved waking up to the sound of the waves through the bedroom window in the morning. Sea view from one of the living room windows. Great location, 5 mins walRead morek into Porthleven harbour and 1 min to the beach but a very quiet and peaceful location.
