A charming and quirky cottage in a prestigious seafront location just a short stroll from Porthleven's scenic harbour. The cottage enjoys unobstructed sea and coastal views from all main rooms and benefits from a traffic-free position with just the sounds of the sea to lull you to sleep. This charming fishing village boasts an array of delightful restaurants, unique boutiques and local pubs nestled around its scenic harbour. Whether you’re strolling along the glorious South West Coast Path spotting seals or dolphins, devouring delicious seafood or simply basking in the tranquil atmosphere, Porthleven promises an enchanting coastal getaway. A visit to St Michael’s Mount at Marazion (8mls) makes for a memorable day trip or the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth (15.5mls) is a place to enrich your understanding of the sea and Cornwall. Be sure to head out and walk around the Penrose Estate and Loe Bar.

This distinctive property aptly named ‘Mizpah’ meaning ‘lookout’ or ‘watchtower’, occupies a stunning seafront location where the soothing sounds of waves caressing the shore create a serene atmosphere. On entering you’ll find yourself in a bright and practical living room adorned with a leather sofa and armchair, centred around a wall-mounted Smart TV for your entertainment. A front-facing window offers panoramic views of the turquoise waters. Climb a short staircase to the dining area, featuring windows to the side and front, providing extensive sea vistas to enhance your dining experience. Conveniently adjacent is a cloakroom with WC. The well-equipped kitchen provides all the essentials for culinary delights and a door leads down to the snug room on the lower ground floor. Here, carefully positioned armchairs create a cosy space for reading and relaxation, complemented by an additional shower room on the same level. From the living room, take the stairs to the two bedrooms, each offering delightful sea views and the luxury of en-suite shower rooms for added privacy and comfort. Accessed from the outside, a useful utility room with a washing machine and additional shower provides the ideal space for washing off sandy beachwear or hiking boots.

While this cottage has no outdoor space, it makes up for it with a pair of French doors that can be opened at the front, seamlessly blending the indoors with the outdoors. This creates a charming spot to soak up the invigorating sea breeze and unwind with a refreshing drink. This property is in a perfect location. Stunning views to the front of the property. We used the one parking space- but there were no problems at all parking the second car on the streets not too far from the property. Everything that Porthleven has to offer is on your doorstep - a good choice of pubs and places to eat. Steps down to the beach justRead more outside the property. Love our stay. The bunk beds are suitable for adults. Hide

Unfortunately not. Not even for a young family with pushchair. A small coffee table in the lounge area would have been helpful.
