The property is well situated for the local town of Bungay - can either walk or drive to. On the same road are several businesses selling food, and garden supplies. The actual cottage is beautifully appointed, with 2 shower rooms. The open plan kitchen and dining room is light and nicely furnished. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable beds (although should have been given option, when booking, for twin beds to be made into double!) Beautiful garden with views down to river - would be better in Summer when warmer weather to sit out in evenings

The location is just outside Bungay. The hosts were welcoming and charming. The garden is spacious with the River Waveney at the bottom. The first part of the garden is fenced off in order to restrain pets. With a shower room both upstairs and downstairs the cottage is most suitable for a party of 4 people. Very comfortable beds, having two bathrooms was useful, one up one down. Great hosts who live next door. Lovely to use the whole garden, not just the enclosed space. This leads down to the river Waveney, beautiful quiet spot to sit with a cuppa late evening to watch the sunset. Lowlands Barn Annexe is in a great location to visit both Suffolk & Norfolk. It is in a peaceful location, right by the river Waveney. There are some lovely walks close by across the fields into Bungay & access to the Angle Way. Fen farm Dairy is right next door where you can purchase fresh milk, cheese, bread & other local produce. Bungay offRead moreers a wide range of individual shops & some great Tea rooms The Earsham Road cafe can be highly recommended as well as the Fleece inn for food. Wroxham Broads is only 30 mins drive & Bressingham Gardens is around 40mins away The Little fish & chip shop in Southwold is really good. The seafront is a few yards away from it where you can sit & eat your food. We had a lovely time & would recommend it for a lovely peaceful stay. Hide

Excellent welcome pack. Property very well presented and suited our needs. The garden is excellent both the fenced off section to keep our dog safe and opportunity to walk down the garden to the river. Loved watching the wren flitting around. Kitchen had everything we needed, cooked a full roast whilst we were there and a buffet for visiting rRead moreelatives. We very much enjoyed our stay at Lowlands. It is a great location for the coast and so many other places in Suffolk and Norfolk. Great to be able to go down to the river and watch the wildlife. The accommodation was lovely, clean and comfortable and well equipped. Definitely hope to go back again soon
