Very well equipped cottage with lots of space in a great location for exploring Bodmin Moor and the local beaches. Perfect for our family of 4 for a half term break. Jane is a lovely host and was very helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We loved our stay at this holiday home! It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The place felt cosy and homely, making it really easy to relax. The location was perfect with beautiful walks nearby and plenty of attractions just a short 30-minute drive away. Wed definitely stay again!

Beautiful view of Bodmin and very quaint and quiet setting in Cornwall. When we got there it was very clean and tidy with comfortable beds , we liked the fire log burner in the lounge as it was very useful for keeping us warm one evening. Only disadvantages were very confusing parking situation as you either have a choice of going down some stairsRead more past other flats to get to the front of property or a very slippery slope footpath which is tricky if you are carrying alot of shopping or luggage. Also be warned that you are met with alot of stairs when you first enter the apartment so only really suitable for the able bodied types as not wheelchair friendly. It did have a lovely rustic charm about the place and great for a stay and visiting the seaside. We would also recommend seeing a very excencentric dolls cottage as it's very quirky just up the road from the place . Also unfortunately you have to go to Wadebridge for any big shops as the local community shop is closed alot. Hide

We enjoyed our stay. Cottage is in good location for local rambling and also seeing site on either side of the Cornish bay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glen View. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and in the flat generally. The area was quiet during the day and evening and the flat was well placed to easily reach some beautiful beaches and seaside towns. Disappointing. Poor documentation for cottage and appliances. Mould on bedroom wall and wallpaper peeling. Sofas stained and cushions so old that it was uncomfortable. TV does not allow terrestrial tv to as there is no aerial and no license. Despite the poor accommodation, the location was picturesque and quiet.

Not being familiar with Cornwall & moorland roads, we were initially surprised at how far on the back lanes/ moor roads we had to travel, but after a few days we were more familiarised with the area, it was just getting to it on day one, it seemed remote. We didn't realise until we got to St Brewards just how big the village is. We found the flat eRead moreasily thanks to directions from host. The accomodation was as expected & great. Unfortunately the single toilet was out of action, we managed with the toilet in the bathroom. Sadly there does not seem to be any recycling facilities so everything went in the bin (except glass), not sure where to put glass so brought it home. Hide

A nice property in a pleasant location. We had a very nice and relaxing week. The food in the local pub was excellent, but beware, they are very generous with their portion sizes
