Further afield, you can explore the city of Norwich (13 miles), where the fabulous medieval streets offer rich history, unique shops, a famous market, and breathtaking architecture like the cathedral and castle. Just 26 miles away is Thetford Forest, with numerous walking and cycling trails to explore as well as a Go Ape treetop adventure park – perfect for nature enthusiasts and thrillseekers alike.

Recently renovated, this wonderful property blends timeless elegance with contemporary refinement; characterful antiques and bespoke fabrics create a refined yet welcoming countryside retreat. The meticulously restored period features, such as exposed beams, ornate fireplaces, and wooden flooring, create an ambience of grandeur and sophistication. Enter into the boot room, where there is plenty of space for storing coats and shoes. From here, head into the generous kitchen in the orangery, boasting a traditional Lacanche oven and a rustic farmhouse table extending to seat all 12 guests. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and large patio doors offer access to the patio. To the rear of the kitchen there is a utility room with further appliances and a downstairs WC. From the kitchen, there is access to the library, and just off the library is the welcoming snug. It’s the perfect spot to relax beside the wood burner while watching a film or programme on the Smart TV. Down the hallway, you’ll find two more living rooms: one with comfortable furniture, a wood burner and a Smart TV, the other more formally furnished and featuring a brick fireplace, exposed beams and a bay window with lovely views of the grounds. Upstairs, the seven bedrooms are all uniquely designed with elegant furnishings and plush bedding. The first-floor houses three super-king-size rooms served by en-suite bathrooms. There is also one twin bedroom with access to a spacious Jack-and-Jill bathroom. On the second floor is a further shower room with exquisite views of the countryside beyond, as well as three further beautifully finished bedrooms – one queen-size, one super-king-size and a twin room, as well as an en-suite shower room.

Beyond the farmhouse, an enchanting garden awaits. There is a patio accessed by the orangery, as well as a lawned and landscaped area with garden furniture and a BBQ, plus a sauna in an outhouse next to the property. Ample private parking is available. Guests also have access to the immediate countryside, which offers plenty of pathways for walking and enjoying the local wildlife.

Great place if you want to go away with family. Incredibly spacious and very well equipped in the kitchen. Garden is secure for dogs, with the added bonus of so much space surrounding the cottage to explore.

12 of us stayed in this gorgeous house. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Anna, the house keeper was marvellous; contacting me before and during our stay to check everything was ok. The house is well equipped with high end appliances. We particularly liked the fridge/freezer. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery and the second dishwRead moreasher was useful at times. All of the beds & linen were high quality and very comfortable. The pleasant garden was secure for children. During our stay we made use of the large gas barbecue and the sauna. The Farm House was fabulous and we would love to book it again. Me and my 10 friends absolutely loved the house which was so well equipped and beautifully decorated and equipped.

Everything was perfect and exactly as described. Anna, the housekeeper was incredibly attentive and helpful. The house was beautiful inside and out and incredibly comfortable, perfect for large groups.

We had the most incredible Christmas stay at Park Farmhouse, and I cant recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a festive wonderland. The property is stunning, spacious, and brimming with character, perfectly blending rustic charm with modern comfort. The living areas are beautifully appointed, with cozRead morey furniture and a roaring fire that made for the perfect setting for Christmas gatherings. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it a joy to prepare festive feasts for the whole family. The dining area, with its gorgeous views of the countryside, was the perfect backdrop for Christmas dinner. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and comfortable, ensuring everyone had a restful night's sleep. The outdoor space is equally fantasticgreat for morning walks and exploring the surrounding countryside. We loved waking up to peaceful views and crisp Norfolk air.
