This quirky abode is in the perfect spot. Located on the famous “Lambeth Walk” part of St Ives seafront, it’s literally on the water’s edge and has stunning uninterrupted panoramic views of the harbour, with its bustling fishing boats and the entire sweep of St Ives Bay’s crystal clear waters across to the golden sands of Hayle, Gwithian and Godrevy Lighthouse. Right in the beating heart of the town centre, the many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars are only 120m away. Close by is the pristine, white sandy beach of Porthminster. It’s a 0.8 mile stroll to Porthmeor surfing beach and the Tate St Ives.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of central St Ives, this delightful character cottage has charm and a wonderful stone exterior. Deceptive from the street, step inside and into the kitchen which is well-equipped with everything you'll need for your holiday whether it's a romantic meal, family feast, or preparing a picnic for your day exploring. As you take a few steps up to the living room you will be amazed by the beautiful sea view. You can spend hours watching the hustle and bustle going on outside using the binoculars that are provided for you. Should you tire of the amazing view the property has a Smart TV as well as an array of books and board games to play gathered around the dining table with seating for all. Heading upstairs, you'll find the king bedroom with vaulted ceilings, exposed stonework, and en-suite cloakroom with WC. There’s also a Smart TV, storage unit, and hanging rail. Steps down from the kitchen area take you to the 2ft6 twin bedroom with plenty of storage provided. Lastly, you'll find the contemporary family bathroom with a separate luxury shower.

There is no outside space at the property but the exquisite sea views and central location more than compensate for that.

It was a wonderful location and watching people get splashed at high tide was most entertaining. There was lots of laughter outside - it was a very happy spot! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again. We really loved our stay at Lantern Loft. Perfect location, good facilities and we look forward to booking again.

The location of this cottage is perfect for visiting bustling StIves. We loved sitting in the window and looking out across the water. The ease of accessing the views and local walks / shops was a real plus. The cottage was cosy and easy to keep warm with smart TV and plenty of games to keep the kids entertained. Wi-Fi was also good. Good Read morekitchen space with fridge, freezer and washer drier. Lots of places to eat or take away as well. Its located near a church and road thats used infrequently but is right outside the door causing some noise but didnt bother us. We parked at the train station for the week for 15 but spaces were limited. Hide

Fabulous location, brilliant view out of living room windows . Too many steps for young children or elderly. Twin bedroom has tiled steps down from kitchen. Main bedroom is up a painted wooden staircase so quite a distance apart if you have young children . No dishwasher but has washing machine.
