My daughter, wife and I had a lovely week at Honeysuckle cottage. Our dog loved the walks around castle meadows opposite and we also found a lovely lake for dog swimming at Holton Pit two miles away plus excellent dog friendly beaches at Walberswick, Dunwich and Southwold Dene just a 15 minute drive away. The small but enclosed garden was also appRead morereciated. The cottage has been recently refurbished with considerable taste and good quality items. Beds were very comfortable. Bramfield itself boasts a shop and the best of pubs in the Area: The Queens Head. So friendly, great food, even takeaways, and a fine garden overlooking the historic church. Great Location with the market town of Halesworth close by for a fine Coop store. Hide

Picturesque, well equipped cottage in peaceful village location - within easy reach of sandy, dog friendly beach, at Southwold. Excellent pub with restaurant at end of road (2 mins walk!). Village shop nearby and larger Co-Op Superstore in Halesworth - 10 mins drive.

The cottage was very clean and beautifully appointed in a very pretty village with a great pub located a few minutes down the lane. Two drawbacks. There was no proper shower. Also the allocated parking space was far too small for our large car to access from the narrow lane and neighbours car parked the other side. We had to find alternative parkinRead moreg a few minutes walk from the cottage. Appreciated the complimentary wine, milk and cake. Hide

Had a lovely stay at honeysuckle cottage , we stayed for a month in February. The garden is small but fully secured and the location is great for dog walking, there is a large meadow just over the road that has paths for long walks. Great pub at the top of the road that serves good food and is dog friendly.

This is a beautifully appointed and decorated cottage. The living room was comfortable and homely with a restful decor and gorgeous wildlife prints. Kitchen was well appointed with high end appliances. Huge bonus for dog owners is the fully enclosed, safe garden. It is extremely rare in my experience to actually find this. Many owners advertise thaRead moret their gardens are fully enclosed - they turn out to be anything but! However the garden at Honeysuckle cottage was great and my dog enjoyed the freedom of it. With lots of lovely walks in the area I highly recommend it. Hide

Lovely clean property, had all we needed. Great location near to the coast with some lovely local pubs to visit. A proper shower would have been good but the attachment over the bath was ok for our week. Nice welcome pack, thanks for that. We would return.

The cottage is clean and tidy and is a great bolt hole if you are looking to explore Suffolk. This cottage is a great size for a small family or for a couple who are keen walkers. The nature reserve as the back garden is beautiful. It is well equipped for a self catering holiday, and the added air fryer was a welcomed extra. The country pub at tRead morehe end of the road is award winning for its food and the staff were friendly. The meadow at the end of the road is beautiful for dog walkers or a picnic. The beach at Dunwich village is a 5 minute drive away and the parking fee is by donation. Would suggest beach shoes as the shingle beach was painful for our feet. The cafe at Dunwich beach served good food at reasonable prices. Hide

Honeysuckle cottage is such a comfortable and cosy, well equipped, dog friendly place to stay. Our Jack Russell terrier loved it, as did we! There was a much appreciated welcome pack of goodies, and a generous basket of logs for the wood burner, great for winter. Clean, well designed and with a thoughtful contemporary feel, the cottage is locatedRead more in a very interesting Suffolk village that includes a great Pub and an excellent local shop (that is so much more!) For local walks and to exercise the dog, there is also an excellent, extensive public common just a few hundred metres up the road with mown paths, running through hay meadows, a variety of wildlife habitats and ancient woodland. Walk the dog or jog for a mile or two. A great facility on the doorstep!. All in all, Honeysuckle cottage is thoroughly recommended. We certainly hope to return!! Hide
