Pleasant accommodation with accessible footpath. The pub is busy, but it did not disturb the peacefulness of our stay.

Black Tiles was a very comfy warm cottage. Well equipped with plenty of cutlery and crockery. The beds were very comfy. The location was in a pretty village. The Dennington Queen pub was on the doorstep, serving delicious food. Remember to book though as it gets very busy. It was in a perfect location for visiting the coastline of Suffolk. SouthwoRead moreld, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Minsmere and plenty more places all worth a visit and too far away. Framlingham was the nearest town where there was a Co-op store and a market. Framlingham Castle was also worth a visit. Hide

Comfortable and warm, but the usual holiday cottage welcome pack (e.g. small vase of flowers, pint of milk, small packet of biscuits) was absent. We felt doubly unwelcomed when we found there was no toilet paper provided - we had to beg a roll from the nearby pub. No washing up liquid, no surface-wiping cloth or kitchen roll, no salt or pepper. TheRead more CD player advertised is defunct. Hide

The cottage is set in a beautiful location with plenty of walks from the front door for those with dogs. The cafe nearby is fantastic for breakfast the the pub for evening meals. The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge area. We never used the dinning area which is a little gloomy.
