Just moments from the centre of the popular coastal village of Blakeney, this stunning and stylish home is ideal for friends or family looking for a coastal retreat. Blakeney with its harbour, marshes and stunning scenery is a hotspot for a great coastal holiday. Less than a mile from the property there are several places to eat, including 2 pubs, a local delicatessen, artisan bakery and a general store plus the North Norfolk Coastal path, which is great for birdwatching and walking. The walk to Morston on the coastal path is just over a mile and you can look forward to a delicious lunch from the local inn. Enjoy a trip to see the local seal colony at Blakeney Point. This stunning diverse coast is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with fantastic sandy beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham with beautiful Holkham Hall and deer park also in the village.

Stepping through the front door into this charming home, you are welcomed into the entrance area with space to remove coats and shoes as well as the ground floor cloakroom before you enter into the spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped for you to create an array of meals that can be enjoyed at the property’s breakfast bar. The living area has been finished and furnished to a high quality throughout creating a relaxing atmosphere with big comfy sofas as well as a Smart TV and electric fire, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring all there is to offer in the area. From here, the living room also provides access to the enclosed garden with French doors leading out from the living area to the garden. Upstairs you will find the two welcoming bedrooms, one king sized bedroom and the other having twin zip n link beds which can be made up as a king on request, making this ideal for families or friends. You will also find the stylish and spacious bathroom, making the most of the space the bathroom has a bath as well as a separate shower.

Heading outside the spacious garden is a wonderful place to enjoy those sunny summer days. The garden is laid with paving slabs and is edged with flower beds and shrubs, relax on the garden furniture, perfect for alfresco dining.

Our home from home in Norfolk - our third visit and we will definitely be back. Cottage is fabulous and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

The house was really comfortable and well equipped, good location, only 10 mins walk to Blakeney Quay. It is a beautiful area.

A well presnted modern house where we spent a very comfortable week. Its location is no problem as it is a ten minute walk to the local shop and another five minutes to the Kings ARms and quay. Off street parking is a big plus. Be aware when we stayed there was no hair dryer supplied and no washing machine.

We had a great week staying at the Glaven Retreat, it has a massive shower plus a decent bath, a very neat garden and the property itself is very modern and clean. Location wise its easy to walk down into the harbour ( 5 mins ) even with a pram and a toddler in tow. Well be back!

This is an excellent cottage for holidays. The beds are soooo comfortable I didn't want to get up in the mornings. For us this was just about the most perfect place we could ever find and so quiet with very little in the way of noise apart from birds. We will definitely be back.
