Just moments from the centre of the popular coastal village of Blakeney, this stunning and stylish home is ideal for friends or family looking for a coastal retreat. Blakeney with its harbour, marshes and stunning scenery is a hotspot for a great coastal holiday. Less than a mile from the property there are several places to eat, including 2 pubs, a local delicatessen, artisan bakery and a general store plus the North Norfolk Coastal path, which is great for birdwatching and walking. The walk to Morston on the coastal path is just over a mile and you can look forward to a delicious lunch from the local inn. Enjoy a trip to see the local seal colony at Blakeney Point. This stunning diverse coast is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with fantastic sandy beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham with beautiful Holkham Hall and deer park also in the village.

Stepping through the front door into this charming home, you are welcomed into the entrance area with space to remove coats and shoes as well as the ground floor cloakroom before you enter into the spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped for you to create an array of meals that can be enjoyed at the property’s breakfast bar. The living area has been finished and furnished to a high quality throughout creating a relaxing atmosphere with big comfy sofas as well as a Smart TV and electric fire, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring all there is to offer in the area. From here, the living room also provides access to the enclosed garden with French doors leading out from the living area to the garden. Upstairs you will find the two welcoming bedrooms, one king sized bedroom and the other having twin zip n link beds which can be made up as a king on request, making this ideal for families or friends. You will also find the stylish and spacious bathroom, making the most of the space the bathroom has a bath as well as a separate shower.

Heading outside the spacious garden is a wonderful place to enjoy those sunny summer days. The garden is laid with paving slabs and is edged with flower beds and shrubs, relax on the garden furniture, perfect for alfresco dining.

Second time for us staying in this house, great location, ideal for getting the bus, easy parking and walking into Blakeney. Highly recommend it. We will be back next year.

We loved the house - perfectly placed in easy walking distance to Blakeney, and in a very quiet location. Very comfortable and the clean - the owners have thought of everything you might need. Beautiful decor and furnishings and top quality appliances.

Accommodation very nice. Garden secure for four legged friends. A few minutes walk to shops and pubs. Parking for 2 cars.

The cottage was in a good location and was easy to walk to the village and sea front. It was clean modern and comfortable and the garden was great for our small dauchund. Everything was there that was needed for out stay. A few nice touches were supplied.

Glaven Retreat is just outside the main part of Blakeney Village tucked away in the midst of a housing estate but still within 15 minutes walk of the quay. As a new build property it lacks character but this is more than made up for by the quality of the appliances, furnishings and so on. The enclosed garden is excellent.

Perfect for us with parking right outside the door. The unit has plenty of space, heated up beautifully and was just a short walk to the pubs etc of Blakeney. A fairly new build it was modern and comfortable inside and, if the weather had been kinder to us, it also has a large outdoors area.
