The beach is just over a mile from the town centre and is a fantastic stretch of sand, lined by colourful beach huts and backed by pine trees. Visit Holkham Estate, just 3 miles away, with one of the region’s most recognisable Palladian country houses, year-round events, over 25,000-acres of historic parkland and for the youngsters, there’s an adventure playground and lake with boat hire. You are only a short drive from Morston (6 miles) where you can book a boat trip to see the seals and there is fantastic birdwatching and walking at Cley-next-the-Sea (8 miles). Don’t miss the picturesque inland towns and villages including Burnham Market (6 miles) and Holt (11 miles) which offer art galleries, antique shops and boutiques, and a selection of places to eat.

Tastefully and sympathetically restored, this Grade 2 listed Georgian fronted cottage with period sash windows will have you feeling instantly at home. The front door opens into the delightful and cosy lounge with wood burner, where you can cuddle up and warm those toes or create some gentle family competition with a game of Norfolk themed monopoly. The lounge leads through to the kitchen diner which is fully equipped with everything you need to serve up a delicious meal of locally sourced produce. Head upstairs and you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms offering a relaxing space to ensure you have a great night’s sleep. There is also a family bathroom on this floor.

Outside offers a courtyard garden with outbuildings housing the utility room with WC. The bench seat at the end of the garden is positioned perfectly for catching the morning rays with a cuppa and good book. The patio area is a real sun trap and just the spot to dine alfresco.

Fantastic property in a great location. Very comfortable and with a lovely little courtyard at the back with a very handy utility room. Lack of a parking spot was tricky but fits with other properties we have stayed in Wells.

Really good property with everything necessary for a comfortable holiday. Being low season it was a bonus to be able to park outside the cottage. Very good position with all amenities closed by. Another stay at the cottage, we have been regular visitors for over 10 years so it must be good! Well positioned in Wells with easy access to beaches and bus routes for walks, with a variety of eateries and pubs both in the town and a short drive away. Well appointed and comfortable it is ahome from home in every sense, and yes we will be back!

Just returned from a weeks Christmas break at this lovely house. It has everything you require to make it a truly relaxing holiday. It was warm and cosy and the log burner worked a treat. The Coastliner bus service is a fantastic addition , if you want to walk for several miles along the coast , you can hop on the bus back to Wells , and not far from bus stop to the house. We adored this house. Fantastic location, co- op 5 minutes away through a little lane opposite. The best pubs in Wells a 5 minute walk. It was peaceful. We went at the weekend so had no problem with any noise. It had a great courtyard and an extra outbuilding with a toilet and sink. I would truly love to live in this house. Neat cottage, with all you could need. The building work on the youth hostel is not intrusive and parking is available just the other side of the church. However, there is building work in the cottage next door too. We were unaware of this and it did spoil our stay.

We have stayed at the cottage many times in the past when it was Bluebell Cottage, great to see it with new owners and still the same feel and pleasure of staying there, it was as before superb! The building works was fine, they kept roughly to the times, a shame they had so many vans making parking a bit tricky sometimes!

A lovely little house, conveniently located for all attractions of the town. The bathroom heating, however, did struggle a bit due to the exceptional cold weather. Otherwise the heating was fine.

The cottage is in an excellent location and has plenty of free parking adjacent. Its also in a quiet part of the town. All amenities (pubs, shops etc) are all very close. The cottage is extremely warm and the Kitchen equipment is plentiful. The outside garden is wonderful and gave plenty of (safe) room for our dog to roam. The outhouse with toiletRead more/washing machine/freezer is a really big plus. The bedrooms are all airy and warm. We were only a group of 4, so unsure how the cottage would 'cope' with a party of 6. But with 4 its really a wonderful place to stay Hide
