Located on the ground floor of an elegant period-style property, the lovely apartment is set a short walk from the sandy beaches of Swanage Bay, promenade, cafes and restaurants. Swanage is home to the Swanage Heritage Railway running from Swanage to Norden via Corfe Castle. Located on the Isle of Purbeck, Swanage is an ideal base from which to explore Dorset’s World Heritage Coast. Take to the water with a spot of sailing or simply sit and relax on the golden sands. When you’ve finished exploring Swanage, visit one of the many nearby points of interest, including the National Trust Corfe Castle (5.5 miles), Durlston Country Park (2.5 miles), and the coastal town of Poole (19.5 miles), which boast Europe's largest natural harbour and offers boat trips to Brownsea Island, home of Boy Scouts and red squirrels. Further west you will discover Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, 18 miles.

The Flat was very convenient for buses,dog walking and beach. Very comfortable and spacious and would definitely stay there again.

Chabar is a very comfortable, spacious and thoughtfully equipped holiday apartment in a convenient location. It made our week long stay in Swanage very enjoyable.

We found the apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. The bottle of wine and fresh flowers were a nice touch. The location was very good as it was close to the sea front and the local shops. The apartment was let as being dog friendly. However, the small back yard was not really suitable for our dog.

This property is a two double bedroomed ground floor flat. It was very suitable for our holiday. It was within easy walking distance of the beach and the town. All the rooms were large enough and we'll equipped. The outside area is quite a small patio area but enough for our 2 dogs to dot necessary things of life. A very spacious and clean ground floor flat. Excellent location for us, 5 mins walk to the beach and 15 mins walk into town for shops etc. We had everything we needed as a family of 4 and a dog. Thankyou to the hosts!

This apartment was bigger than my house. Everything you could possibly need was included. Fully fitted kitchen with everything you could think of - home from home. Fantastic location. 5-10 minutes walk down to beach, which was dog friendly. There is a pub "The Crow's Nest" just a few metres away. Bus stop on both sides of road. We used the bus "BreRead moreezer 50" open top several times to go to Bournemouth via Studland chain ferry. Fare 3 each way. The views were spectacular. Lovely walk along promenade to shops, with plenty of places to eat and drink. We went of Swanage Steam Train to end of line, where there is a mine museum, very interesting, then got off at Corfe Castle. We also walked costal path to Dunstan Castle, quite steep in places and found an easier route back down. So many places to visit along this coast. Will definately be booking again. Perfectly placed for the Steam Gala, the Railway being a 15/20 minute walk or it is short walk down the hill for the beach and a walk along the shore. A comfortable, well equipped "home" to stay in. Thank you for the welcome pack, most appreciated

Our dog is trained to only poo/wee on grass and there was none available in the cottage or outside until you walked a distance away. We stayed in an extremely hot period and there were no fan's available. The cottage was very clean and well equipped but the outside area was very basic and let the cottage down.
