This charming retreat on a small organic farm on the Norfolk/Suffolk border in the peaceful village of Market Weston, is an idyllic escape for couples. Cattle graze ancient pasturelands under celebrated Suffolk skies and scenic walks start at your door. Hillcrest Garden Centre is a one stop destination for deli, butcher and coffee shop ( 2.5 miles). Jane is lovely person making sure your having a good stay and offering local knowledge on the area, without been intrusive.The accommodation is excellent with a lot of attention to detail . We were very comfortable and appreciated the high standards that the accommodation offers. When I booked it looked like we were staying in the middle of nowherRead moree. In fact its at the centre of some fabulous places like Southwold, Aldeburgh, Bury St Edmunds National Trust houses of Melford Hall and the fabulous Ickworth House to name a few spots. I also did some nice walks from the Cowshed taking in the lovely scenery. It was nice to sit and watch the cows on a night with rabbits, muntjac deer and swallows doing their thing. We will return , some favourite places to revisit and a few places that we didnt have time to visit. Hide

The cottage was beautiful and had been thoughtfully renovated. So quiet and peaceful and all done to a high quality.. a perfect get away and ideally located to visit some lovely places. Our host was a lovely lady who made sure we had everything we needed

The Domini Cowshed is beautiful in every respect. Fabulous decor, well equipped extremely comfortable and in a great location for touring Suffolk and Norfolk. Jane the owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend for a wonderful relaxing break.

Domini Cowshed is at the back of the farm (reached on a different road to the farm) about 200 yards from the owners cottage). It's a recent conversion (2023) to a high standard. The views are excellent. The small village the farm is in is to the south. Open fields to the north. Plenty of walks, both within and outside of the farm. An impressive coRead morettage and location, BUT the living room seating was more suitable to a reception. It needs a comfortable high-backed armchair. I had a pain in my leg, which meant I would've slept better sleeping in an armchair. Hide

Lovely and peaceful location. We enjoyed seeing the four cows each day, and to see magnificent sunsets,and to see bats at dusk and when no cloud cover a great star filled sky.We did enjoy relaxing and exploring various places nearby.

The property is a very well executed renovation of a listed building that literally was a cowshed - no more! Very comfortable and quiet setting, clean and well equipped, and our host Jane was very friendly and helpful. A central base ideal for touring Suffolk and Norfolk with all the facilities you could need.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in Domini Cowshed. It is furnished and equipped to a very high standard with everything we needed. We were very fortunate with the weather so were able to use the outside area and enjoy the lovely sunsets. The location is good for exploring the local area and further afield. Would particularly recommend Fuller'sRead more Mill garden and Lockwood Lakes. We were made very welcome by Jane who was on hand to recommend places to visit and offer assistance if required. Lovely cottage in a great location for wildlife and walks. The cottage was very clean and contained all that was necessary for our stay. The king size bed was supremely comfortable. Pleasantly decorated and well insulated and warm. We were there in June this year but despite an excellent area to sit out in it was sadly too cold outside.
