A lovely old thatched roof property - set in lovely grounds at the top of a hill. Great location for us as we are an active family and were quite happy walking back up the hill after walking to the beach / harbour. The house is large and has great facilities and the showers fantastic.

House comfortable but cold badly needs double glazing had the weather been better might have been a different story. When booking I asked about a mobility scooter hire for my husband and a lady at original cottages gave me dorset wheelchair hire services a Mr Wayne Jones do not recommend this person again as we were supplied with a mobility scooterRead more unfit for use and had to find a new supplier and they took one look at this scooter and said not fit for purpose which is not the fault of original cottages but we went with that lady's recommendation. A good property but let down by poor cleanliness and lack of basic household kitchen/bathroom soaps/dishcloths/washing up liquid etc. We had a good time, but would not recommend to anyone unless the maintenance is improved.

A large and spacious house on many different levels so not any use for mobility issues as many steps . Nice modern kitchen with all equipment provided and lovely welcome pack Worth mentioning that Parking is on a very steep drive downwards which meant reversing uphill onto a busy road . Lovely enclosed garden but on a slope. Garden furniture alRead morel a bit tired and in need of replacing House in need of some updating and de-cluttering but nice features like blankets provided in the lounge . A super spot just outside Lyme ( steep walk back up!) , a bit old fashioned and shabby in places but we had a good stay in Lyme. Hide

The cottage was in a good location and made it easy to walk to and from Lyme Regis town, despite the hill! The property was large and bright and offered sufficient comfort for our stay.
