The seaside village of Combe Martin (7 miles) has a lovely bay which is popular for kayaking and paddle boarding and is an excellent place for lunching in the many pubs, cafes and restaurants. If you fancy a day at the beach there are plenty to choose from including Woolacombe (14 miles). Close to the gorgeous spots seen in a number of films including the 2025 film 'The Salt Path'.
