Ilfracombe offers visitors a range of activities including the fascinating Tunnels beaches, a unique secluded cove carved out of the cliffs with tidal bathing pools. Woolacombe (4 miles) offers 3 miles of golden sands and is ranked 4th place in Europe for surfing. It's also popular with swimmers and paddle boarders, with a plethora of shops, cafes and restaurants. Discover Exmoor National Park (9 miles) with its dramatic moorlands and woodland walks and take a trip to the pretty town of Lynton where you can enjoy a trip on the funicular railway down to Lynmouth.
This former 1700,s Fisherman’s cottage has been decorated in a traditional style to compliment its original features. Mizpah is a traditional fisherman’s cottage, and as such has narrow cottage stairs, making it unsuitable for the elderly or infirm. Set over 3 floors this unique cottage has low beams and two sets of stairs, enter on the ground floor and into the quirky kitchen that has everything you need to whip up some of those favourite recipes, with comfortable seating this is a lovely social area. Taking the stairs to the first floor there is a cosy lounge where you can relax on the comfy sofas after a busy day of exploring with views across to the harbour and catch up on a box set on the Smart TV. Completing this floor is the family bathroom with a shower- over the bath and WC. On the top floor are 2 bedrooms with a king size bed and views across to the harbour and a twin room with two 2.6ft beds.
The cottage is set into the cliffs, and so has no rear garden but rather offers a small outside seating area to the front.
