The Lookout at Lamorna Cove is a well-equipped and comfortable, apartment in an undeniably idyllic setting. The location is truly very special, with the natural and man made beauty of the cove providing a peaceful and very memorable backdrop. The promotional Photos are somewhat deceptive. It was disappointing to find the terrace a little unkempRead moret, with dead plants and weeds in the pots and the glass balustrade not cleaned and the apartment windows needing a clean. Understandably they are exposed to salty air, but at the start if the season, with the property marketed for its views clean windows would have made a difference. The welcome experience also fell a little short. Guest information was minimal, and the WiFi details were provided on a scrap of difficult to read, torn paper which fell out of the welcome folder. On the plus side the apartment was very clean, quality towels and bedding are provided and there were some nice touches in terms of provision in the kitchen and bathroom. Hide

Lovely view and nice and peaceful for the time of year we went (March April). Would recommend taking some towels if youre there for a week plus as they only supply one towel per person. The fridge doesnt have a freezer compartment. The local pub wasnt open from Monday to Thursday, so we didnt get to use that (you have to check their website for opRead moreening times/days). The caf below was a bit of hit or miss on opening times, again for the time of year we went. The car parking is a pay and display car park you have to register your car number plate at least two weeks before, which seemed to be okay. To access the apartment, you have to use a spiral stair case, which could be tricky with suit cases etc. Would we stay there again? Yes, we would. Hide

Fantastic location in a quiet cove. View of the sea was wonderful. Flat makes a great base for walking and exploring the bottom end of Cornwall. Nice cafe below for breakfast and lunch.

Location was fab, with an outstanding view. Accommodation needs a little tlc as its a bit dated & scruffy. Bed was very comfortable. Various places to visit nearby, quite a good spot. Lamorna wink pub is a 5 minute walk & served fabulous food.

Absolutely stunning location and a wonderful little place to stay. Great value for money and has everything you need! We were even visited by a seal in the bay on a couple of swims. Would definitely love to stay again.

The most beautiful scenery I have ever had the pleasure to look upon. You could have removed the TV altogether, I was happy to sit and watch the sea. The constant sound of the waves, the birdlife, the peace and serenity of the cove, all visible just simply sitting on the sofa. Early morning tea on the terrace soon became my favourite pastime. It waRead mores even beautiful in the rain. I honestly don't have words for how much I enjoyed my stay here and I feel like I will always miss the sights from that terrace. Hide

The view is delightful and being so close to the sea is brilliant for swimming, but be aware there is quite an under tow at times. Well appointed property and a comfy bed. Coast path walks are more challenging in the area than some, especially towards Porthcurno.

It's an upstairs apartment. Balcony, Lounge, Kitchen, bedroom and toilet / shower room. Very clean on arrival. WiFi not great at times, so TV wouldn't work, but this could be a plus point or a negative depending on your point of view. Would definitely book again, because there is so much more to explore.

The location of this cottage is exceptional, however it is unfortunately in need of some updates regarding furniture. Everything was acceptable, barring the crockery which we found a bit dirty on arrival, but I believe it needs to be better maintained in order to justify the price.

The apartment is in a beautiful location that can not be faulted. The apartment itself needs refreshing. Some of furniture is worn out and past it's use by date. Have been to the cove 3 times now but would not use this apartment again until some money has been spent on refurbishing the place.
