Very cute and very functional for 1 person and his dog. Bed very comfy. No issues with stairs or how anything worked.

Very simple cottage. And when they say dinky it really was. The cottage was a bit too cramped for me and you need to be fit to manage the stairs. The stairs were a nightmare during the night if you needed the toilet as it was downstairs. Also be aware of parking - I was unable to park on the high street due to no space so had to carry all my luggagRead moree from the car park - not ideal. Great location and Blakeney was just lovely. I have to say that staying in Dinky Cottage was a challenge. It was cramped, the stairs were difficult to negotiate and the low ceiling in the bedroom made life for me difficult.

Very quaint but dinky being the obvious word, not suitable for the unfit or elderly, due to extremely steep potentially dangerous stairs. In the words of Four in a bed . Would you stay here again NO

The cottage is extremely well appointed no expense spared. However, people do need to know that the stairs are extremely steep, and the ceiling of the bedroom is less than six foot at maximum (head end of the bed), going down to less three feet, quite a challenge for the "less-young" holiday-maker.

To be polite the cottage was not for us, we expected it to be small but this was something else. We ended up sleeping separately as the bedroom where you were not able to stand up and if you wanted to go to the bathroom downstairs you had to climb over your partner. The stairs are treacherous, no wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes other than downRead morestairs. No cupboard space to put food stuff and a dishwasher that didnt clean crockery so ended up trying to wash in the tiny sink. The door was hanging off the cupboard and the door frame to the bathroom came away when trying to hang towel on the hook. The shower door jammed so it was difficult getting in and out. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We can confirm that we will discuss this with the owner. Hide

This cottage is very small. It's been very imaginatively transformed and is well equiped. It's charming and in a beautiful location. However, we did struggle with our two dogs. It might be better to either not have dogs or state small dogs only. The stairs were a challenge, even for two fit people and the bedroom is also a challenge due to it's lacRead morek of height, which is stated in the description. We had a lovely week there and Blakeney is a beautiful place. Hide
