Enjoy a superb Norfolk seaside stay at this fantastic holiday home, just a short walk from the pubs, shops, restaurants, and beach. Hunstanton is a traditional Victorian seaside resort that still provides all the family attractions you would expect to enjoy on a great British family holiday; a funfair, helter-skelter, arcades, swimming pool, pier, donkey rides, Sea Life Centre, and theatre. There’s also a promenade where you can buy candy floss and ice cream and watch the stunning sunsets. At neighbouring Old Hunstanton (2 miles), you'll find the start of the Norfolk Coast Path, the famous links golf course, beach huts, sand dunes, and water sports. For outings a little further afield, visit Sandringham Estate (8.8 miles), the 100 acres of lavender fields and farm shop at Norfolk Lavender (2.5 miles), or for the wildlife lovers, Holme Dunes Nature Reserve (4 miles).

This retreat has been lovingly renovated into a stylish home-from-home, perfect for a special group getaway to the Norfolk coast. On the ground floor, the hallway boasts a small working space for those that need to catch up on work whilst away and a cosy reading corner. This leads round to an open-plan living/dining room which invites sociable evenings playing board games, watching films on the Smart TV, or dining with the patio doors open and the fresh sea air flowing in. The modern kitchen is equipped with all the culinary essentials you might need to prepare delicious meals to enjoy together around the dining table. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with a Smart TV, and a bathroom. On the first floor are the property’s remaining three bedrooms. The first offers a super-king-size bed. There is another bedroom with a Smart TV and a super-king-size bed that can be converted to twin beds on request. The final bedroom has full-size bunk beds. A shower room completes the first floor.

Outside, there is a fully enclosed garden to the rear – ideal for making the most of the Norfolk sunshine. Unwind on the sun loungers, fire up the BBQ to dine alfresco on the table and chairs before having a sundowner in the private hot tub.

The cottage was a great size for the 6 of us, especially with having parents with us. The beds were a lovely size & very comfortable. The kitchen was also a lovely size although the condition of the oven did let it down a bit. Plenty of living room space & large dining table. It could do with quite a lot of attention in the garden, lots of gardRead moreen furniture provided but mostly unuseable as very dirty with lots of birds poo & tables needed a good clean if you wanted to sit outside to eat. Hot tub not very appealing & broken slabs in the garden, not as per the photos advertised. Anyone arriving with pets, check the side gate is actually locked, we looked & it appeared closed but it wasnt locked & our dogs escaped causing a very stressful hour trying to find them, luckily we got them back safe & sound.... The owner did respond very quickly to questions we asked whilst there & was very helpful. If the recommendations to improvements were looked into then I would happily return but if left as it is I wouldn't due to the poor state of the garden that let it down. I have said I would recommend to a friend due to the house, but I would ask about the garden beforehand. We were very lucky with the weather for our week & location was nice to be able to visit surrounding areas. Hide

The property itself is lovely, clean, tidy and comfortable. We went for a girls weekend get away, and the first night, we went out to the hot tub around 6pm before an evening meal and some card games. Obviously with a group booking, it can be loud. Around 11pm a couple of us went outside for a cigarette and were subjected to obscene languageRead more/abuse from the neighbour, which put an end to the evening and had an impact on our following days. Enjoyed our stay, hottub was lovely. The house was clean and thoughtful extras were there on arrival. Would have expected the little finishing touches to have been better to equate to the high end cost.

The house is well maintained and the owner provided some lovely extra touches biscuits, tea and coffee and many other things! The house is nicely decorated including artwork on the walls which is lovely. The beds were comfortable. The sheets were clean and fresh. The garden was beautiful, including the hot tub which was an added bonus. The locationRead more of the property is great for the beach the shops the arcade And the sea life Centre there are many lovely things to do within a short distance. We were a multigenerational group of four adults and three children and we found there was plenty of space for us all. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were essential for our family member with mobility limitations. We were also pleased to see a washer and a dryer as we had a potty training toddler! All in all the experience was fantastic. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this property to any family or group. The road is a quiet cul-de-sac so it probably wouldnt be suitable for large parties of adults however it was perfect for our family holiday. The owner was friendly ( we contacted him to ask a question he had already answered in the welcome book we missed!) So recommend giving that a read! :) Hide

Lovely modern property only a 10 minutes walk from the beach. The kids loved the hot tub and the ceiling fans were very welcome when the weather finally got hotter. Thanks for the goodies and for a great stay.
