Thank you for accepting our last minute booking as the owners of the cottage we had booked cancelled our booking 24 hrs before we arrived and we only found out by chance. We were thrilled with the accommodation that you provided. The house has character, is very comfortable and in a prime location. The house is very well stocked, plenty of crockeryRead more and utensils in the kitchen and even some logs for the fire. Parking was a bonus on such a busy road. There was no issue with the cleaning as noted in a previous review and we will certainly be recommending this property to our friends. Diolch yn fawr. Hide

We have marked cleanliness and comfort as poor, as the whole house needs a deep clean, including the living room suite and pillows. My parents arrived at three just as the cleaners were going in, and they came out at four. We were surprised that the whole house was done in an hour. The place was surface clean but the floors downstairs had not beeRead moren mopped. Floor was bone dry when we walked in at four. The bottom of my white socks were black on day two..that's how dirty the floor was. The hoovering was not thorough throughout. My mum found toe nail clippings on the floor in the top room, plus dust bunnies. There was hair on the seats in the dining room when we arrived. I found clothes tags in the middle bathroom and bedroom. The skirting boards and behind the doors were dusty. We took the arm covers off the sofa and chairs as they were dirty with chocolate and other stains. The seats were grimy and the room smelt musty. Several pillows in the bedrooms smelt musty, like the pillow covers had not been washed for a while. The shower in the top room leaked whenever you tried to wash suds off the shower walls. Probably the worst thing though was the parking space. I drive an electric car which is heavier than a normal car. Even so I didn't expect to get stuck when moving the car on the second day. The gravel is too deep and my back wheel created a deep hole causing the car to be immovable backwards. We dug out the gravel so it was level and placed wood under the wheels in order to be able to move it out of the lane. This took a long time and luckily it was a weekend otherwise we would have blocked the lane. Luckily also we were able to use the wood and move it otherwise I would have had to call a breakdown service. The gravel is too deep and not compacted so it moves freely. If it was less deep and it had been compacted there would not be a problem. The house is very well equipped and has a great location, but we would not book again due to the parking and poor cleanliness. Thank you for your thoughts I have forwarded to the Home Owner Hide

The cottage is a class above some we have stayed in, small but important things, like there were plenty of mugs instead on the usual one per person, the quality of the appliances was excellent, Dualit toaster and kettle, Smeg coffee machine and a Le Creusat casserole and a gas range to cook on, so good to have built in appliances right where you neRead moreed them. For me, having a king sized bed was a major plus. The position of the cottage was ideal, M&S Food and excellent local shops just moments away, the seafront is a few moments further with some excellent restaurants and bars right there on the front. There is also Oystermouth Castle a very short distance from the front door, its well worth a visit. One of the major pluses of the property is the parking for two cars, admittedly, its up a rough track and it takes practice to manoeuvre in and out, but so much better than gambling with permits and spaces on the Victoria avenue. We have booked again for next year. Hide

This cottage, whilst in a good location, is totally unsuitable for anyone with young children, with mobility impairment, the disabled, and probably the elderly because there are 2 flights of steep steps from the small parking space at tge rear of the property into the property, no access to the front door from the back, and no residential parking pRead morelace allocated at tge front of the property. The road is continually full of parked cars. Hide

The cottage was gorgeous! Clean, comfortable, well-stocked and in an ideal location. Great having a parking space and with plenty of walks, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants, you don't need to move your car too often.

We booked Ty Glas for the family to stay together for a week after my sons wedding. He lives in the Mumbles so I know the area well and wanted somewhere central, and we certainly wasn't disappointed. The accommodation itself was clean, homely and was well equipped to the extent that as it was a week before Christmas we were able to cook a full ChRead moreristmas dinner for 8 people with ease. With just a minutes walk to the high street the location was perfect for shopping and cafes with easy access to an Indian takeaway and fish and chip shop. The seafront restaurants were just a ten minute walk away. Would certainly recommend this property, thank you for a lovely stay. Hide

The house is extremely well equipped and could readily accommodate 6 people. We were a party of 3 adults, including an 80 year old, and a dachshund. We booked because of its proximity to beach but extensive work on the prom made it a long walk to access the beach. Verdis ice cream parlour was a welcome reward. The equipment and utensils in the houRead morese are very high spec, everything you could possibly need to self cater. No ground floor cloakroom unfortunately and the walk in shower is up on the second floor. Overall the property is more like a family home than a holiday let. Hide

Well equipped house in a good location . Great for dog walks and cafes and restaurants. Parking space is at the back of the property, accessed by a very narrow lane. Paperwork confirmed access to property from 3pm but we were told we couldn't get in until 4pm as cleaners were still onsite- shame. Worth checking or calling before you arrive!
