Nestled a stone’s throw from the golden sands and turquoise waters at Westward Ho! Beach, this wonderfully presented coastal home provides the perfect retreat for those looking for sun, sand and a huge choice of family fun adventures. For those wanting to try their hand at golf, the oldest golf course in England, the Royal Devon Golf Course, is right on your doorstep and can be seen from the property. Take the short walk across the Northam burrows, which sits directly outside your front door, across to the beach where you can enjoy an ice cream, put those sandcastle building skills to the test or even try the surfing school. You can also enjoy the great choice of amusements, local shops and fine eateries that Westward Ho! offers too. There is much more to see and do in the area with a host of family attractions nearby which include The Big Sheep and The Milky Way and Wake park, alongside spending a day cycling on the famous North Devon Tarka Trail, or play golf at Royal North Devon Golf Club in Westward Ho!

Stepping into this newly refurbished home, you will soon notice the emphasis on stylish, contemporary features, alongside many sun-filled rooms. Entering will bring you through to the initial hallway with access into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The living area provides plenty of comfortable seating for all guests to sit back and relax in front of the Smart TV whilst sharing those best moments of the holiday. Through to the kitchen area you have everything you need for a stress-free convenient stay, whilst there is also plenty of dining space for all to wine and dine together. Completing the ground floor is a further utility space to add to the convenience of the well-equipped kitchen, as well as a WC. Half-way up the stairway to the first floor is a WC, and continuing on will then bring you to the first 2 bedrooms and first family bathroom. These two bedrooms handily offer something different yet are both incredibly spacious, one being a king-size bed with large bay window and views across the burrows, and the other a twin which can also be made into a super-king size upon request. Heading up to the final floor will of course bring you to the remaining bedrooms and bathroom, where you will again see similar layouts with options of both a king-size bed, and twin room which can also be made into a super-king. With the height of this floor you will also be treated to some glistening sea views right across the burrows.

There are enclosed outdoor spaces both to the front and back of the home. There is a rear courtyard accessible from the kitchen area, whilst the larger, well landscaped space to the front of the home provides a fantastic spot to relax on the raised decking. Perfect for a spot of alfresco dining. There is also an outdoor shower, great for those hot, sunny days.

The house is large, clean, well equipped and in an excellent location. The fact that I booked it for next year while I was there says it all.

There were 6 adults and one big dog in our 5 night stay. Two had to work from home during some of the stay and found no problems with the internet and holding TEAM meetings. There are desks in three of the bedrooms. The house was well equipped, very comfortable and spacious. The location was excellent for our walks across the field and to the bRead moreeach. Great location and beautiful house, a real pleasure to come back to after a day on the beach. Loved the decor, the subtle coastal theming and the views especially from the bedrooms. I would stay here again.

A lovely spacious house not far from the very handy Tesco but still out of town . It is also close to other villages. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the only problem was dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction.

This place is fantastic !! Lovely decor and furniture, lots of quality glasses , mugs and pans etc. Really comfy beds and lovely bathrooms including double sinks in each one.

Beautiful home, very well equipped, very comfortable and in a fantastic location with views across the common towards the sea. We really enjoyed being able to step out of the front door and be at the beach in a few minutes and a short stroll to the main village and shops. Holt Waves was a lovely property in a lovely location close to Westward Ho beach. It had wonderful sea views from all rooms. It was very well equipped and everything was good quality. So lovely to come back to such a lovely place after a busy day on the beach.
