Benacre Nature Reserve is located at the southern end of the beach, while animal lovers will enjoy a visit to Africa Alive Zoological Reserve in Kessingland. Lowestoft, 6 miles north, features quaint shops and cafes, a theatre, and a couple of lovely beaches, as well as being on the edge of the Norfolk Broads National Park for canal boat trips. The stunning, light, and elegant bathroom features a Victorian roll-top bath and a separate walk-in shower, and is located towards the back of the cottage on the ground floor. Wonderful homely and cosy cottage. Beautifully decorated and well-equipped. Perfect location for exploring Southwold and that part of the Suffolk coast. We spent a day at Aftica Alive - an unexpected find in the village and great day out! The bedrooms were perfect for us as a family of four.

The cottage was a lovely place to stay. Close to a practically deserted beach and many places fairly close to visit. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Everything we needed close to hand. Comfy beds and big enough for 4 adults and 2 children. We had a lovely weeks stay

Cosy and very well equipped. Access road potholed and in need of improvement. Might be difficult to turn a larger vehicle as neighbour opposite seems determined to block access to driveway with bins

This is a delightful cottage down a quiet cul-de-sac, just a few minutes walk from the beach and even closer to a great fish and chip shop. We were four adults, using the two double rooms and it was perfect for us, well-equipped and comfortable. If you need to go to the loo in the middle of the night, be aware that it's a steep staircase down to thRead moree bathroom which is downstairs. Kessingland is an ideal base for exploring the Suffolk coast and the Norfolk Broads and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Hide
