Lovely location, the accommodation was excellent and very well thought out. The wildlife in the garden was wonderful to watch, we saw deer in the wood, Woodpeckers and Jay's and many other species. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Very pleasant cottage. The equipment was good, though the click lock on the dishwasher where the tablet fits in is broken (however the dishwasher still works). More cushions on the outside seats would be good, as would some more comfortable outside furniture

I wasn't overly impressed with the cottage. It stated when we booked "enclosed garden and suitable for dogs" after the description had been updated to shared garden but I don't know this as I had no reason to re-check the listing. There's small gravel in part of the garden thats not suitable for dogs and also on the drive. My dogs hurt there paws aRead more few times walking across to the padock. The gate on the 1st padock had a broken part at the bottom only held on by chicken wire and that was on a previous customer review earlier on in the year. If you have dogs that tend to wonder about you cant just let them into the garden as it's joined with the owners house and they have a dog that barks a lot. The listing also states easy access to walks, you can't just walk from the property as its directly onto a county road with no path and cars do come along at speed. Plus the entrance is very steep so of you have a lower car you will bottom out coming out the property. I have a 4X4 and thay only just made it out without hitting the bottom. Overall I would not recommend this if you have dogs and like walks. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review and feedback. These points have been discussed with the owner of the property. The gate has now been fixed. Hide

The cottage was lovely, plenty of nature in the garden, deer, squirrels, bunnies. The en suite smelt of stale water or something which wasnt very nice, there is quite a lot of noise from the traffic passing.

What a gem of a property so close to Norwich but right in the middle of the country. Very well appointed with everything you need for a home away from home. The bed was very comfortable, lovely linens and great big fluffy white towels. A dishwasher and washing machine are also at the property along with dishwasher tablets and washing liquid. I didnRead moret use either as we were only there for a few days. If you are bringing a dog there is a lovely garden but better still a big paddock that is very secure. A lovely surprisebut wiRead moreth one small catch: it didnt have an enclosed garden for the dogs. This meant we had to keep a watchful eye, as the nearby road kept us a little on edge. The most important filter for us was an enclosed garden or patio. While this property had a garden and patio they were not enclosed so dogs could not be let out except on a lead at all times - very annoying. The gates to the property and to the paddock were very diRead morefficult to operate, the paddock gate was broken and had wire mesh sticking out, I caught my clothing on it, it was dangerous for dogs. we left 1 day early.
