We had a fantastic stay, 3 generations, 4 adults and 5 children ranging from 1 - 15 years. The farmhouse was perfect for us with plenty of space for everyone. The games room was very popular with the children. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Tillislow Barton Farmhouse is a very nice property with a very high level of equipment. There wasn't a single utensil that I needed that wasn't provided. The size and cleanliness of the house was more than adequate to accommodate my family with four generously bedrooms and two lounges. The owners, Clare and Michael, are very friendly and informativRead moree without being intrusive. Clare in particular went the extra mile by welcoming us with a lovely lemon drizzle cake and flowers in the dining room. The only downside (if you can call it that) is the relative seclusion. It's lovely and quiet but to get anywhere you have to drive and the roads are very narrow and the surfaces are shocking. Okay if your driving a tractor but my poor car has come home for a rest. Hide

Amazing Farm House, we loved every minute of our time at Tillislow and wished we could have stayed longer, we will definitively be back! Clare was very welcoming and attentive. We had such a great time over Christmas here. It is by far the best equipped holiday home I have been to. There was nothing I can think of that we needed. The main lounge is warm and cosy with ample seating on very large sofas! The smaller snug lounge was good for time out and peace and quiet when it got too noisy. Very large dinning room table witRead moreh plenty of seating. Didnt use the garden much as it was very cold, but looked ample in size and I think we would have used it. Upstairs the beds were comfy and very large. We didnt use the games room, as my family are all adults, but for teenagers it would be a godsend! All bedding very warm. The only downside for us was only one bathroom upstairs. The en suit was good and there is a downstairs shower room but it was just too cold to use for showering. I must stress that it has a heated towel rail, but maybe we are just too wimpish! Hide
