Lovely cosy cottage, loved the log burner! Lovely to be so close to Padstow (10 min drive) As others have mentioned Access to cottage from car park a bit hairy as no pavement! Nice bedding and towels.

The house was clean and linens nice and fresh. Kitchen & bathroom facilities are good & modern. Plenty of hot water. We picked this house because it was located to give us easy access to travel around the area, and for that, it was good. There were some housekeeping issues on arrival, which were resolved within 24 hours. Though it was frustratiRead moreng to arrive with steaks for tea on a Sunday evening and no useable pan to fry them in. A little welcome pack would have been appreciated as there were no tea/coffee/sugar/ dishwashing stuff/condiments at all. Ive slept in comfier beds, but these were fine. Sofas were comfy. Both bedrooms are at the front of the house and are exposed to traffic noise late into the night and from early morning ( at least 1 car every 10 seconds from about 6am). The volume of passing traffic, the speed of travel and the need to listen before crossing (because you cant step out on to the road to see it) made me feel unsafe. Parking on the church hall car park was fine, except for Saturday when we couldnt get a space. There is nowhere else to park! We just double parked and left our contact details visible on the dashboard. All that said, for the price we paid, it felt value for money. Response from Holiday Cottages - Thank you for your review. We do mention the busy road in our descriptions "need to know" and weve spoken to the housekeeper and the issues have now been resolved. Hide

Just comments similar to others who had to negotiate a busy road without a footpath. Common-sense and caution was needed, particularly when carrying luggage and shoppingalthough adequate parking about 100m away by the town hall.

Lovely charming cottage, but a very dangerous road for walking, no allocated parking space.

Really relaxing and comfortable cottage in a peaceful village but close to the hustle and bustle of Padstow. Really warm and cosy inside and so quiet, such a great place to escape for a period. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Cornish base for a holiday.

Lovely clean and tidy cottage, furnishings etc. All up to date, nice touch having a few board games which we made use of. Some beautiful beaches to explore within short drive that are all dog friendly.

Access to the cottage is a big issue. From the car park, there is a 100-metre walk uphill along a narrow road with no pavement and frequent passing traffic. Unsuitable for small children and anyone who needs to bring baggage into the property.

Bed in main room is comfortable. Lovely Bistro at end of road & Padstow easily reachable. Cottage is on a road with no pavements. Parking is down the road.
