For walkers, the Wye Valley Walk is close by and the Brecon Beacons National Park is just 24 miles away. To enjoy stunning views, take the drive up to the Elan Valley Lakes and along the Aberystwyth mountain road. There's plenty to do, with golfing, fishing and horse-riding all catered for locally.
This lovingly hand-crafted, eco-friendly property benefits from solar panels, sheep’s wool insulation and an EV charger. It is built using a (Douglas Fir) timber frame and is clad in architectural tin and larch. The house has been tastefully decorated throughout and provides a lovely holiday home for couples. The hallway opens into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Relax after a day exploring the area in the comfortable lounge with wood burner. Please note there is no TV at the property, but there is Wi-Fi and guests are welcome to bring their own laptops or devices to watch programmes or films over the internet. The bespoke made oak kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The dining area leads out to the wooden veranda and the enclosed patio area with raised beds featuring culinary herbs. Off the hallway you will find the wooden panelled bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom, with its excellent shower and freestanding bath, is located next to the bedroom.
Outside is an enclosed garden with seating areas and views of the Welsh countryside. There is private parking for one car.
