A lovely little terraced house in a great location. Shops, restaurants, and the beach are all within easy walking distance. The house is a bit dated, but very charming. It has everything you need. I would definitely rent it again. Thank you so much for the welcome gift. It was all delicious!

Myself, husband and 15yr old son srayed at Bluebell Cottage, Seaton for 4 nights in August 2025. A lovely little cottage, beautifully decorated to a high standard. A great little porch, perfect for hanging coats and storing shoes. I thought the stone floor downstairs was great for keeping cool. The floor boards upstairs were very creaky, for me thiRead mores just adds to the character of the place but my husband wasn't so keen, more that they were so uneven & very steep stairs, which is in the description. The beds were very comfortable. A little tricky for dropping luggage off as front of cottage is right in front of t junction with traffic lights, but we managed to find an on road parking space a 100 metres down the road to unload, before moving car to the carpark just a few minutes walk away. We didnt cook during our stay & there were plenty of good cafes, restaurants near by. The beach is just a 5 minute walk away. We all enjoyed our stay. Hide

Bluebell cottage was a great quirky cottage very close to all amenities and also within walking distance to an Aldi and Tesco. The Seaton Tramway was a great day out which you can also walk to from the cottage. The parking permit is for Orchard car park (only a couple of minutes walk away) and is valid for the whole of your staywe had a bit of coRead morenfusion when we arrived, so just to clarify. The bed was very comfortable and the tv has all the entertainment you could want. The second bedroom upstairs has another tv in case you have children that want to watch something different. There is a lovely coastal walk from the cottage into Beer, which is well worth a visit. The donkey sanctuary is a short drive away. Sidmouth is around 20mins drive away. I would suggest this is not suitable accommodation for anyone with mobility issues as the staircase is very narrow and quite steep. There is also a step up from the lounge into the kitchen. If this isnt a problem for you and you want somewhere with convenience and comfort then I would definitely recommend, with the added bonus of being dog friendly! Hide

Bluebell Cottage is beautifully furnished, well equipped and very comfortable, though i must admit i did find the stairs to the top bedroom quite challenging, but good exercise and not much to be done about those without spoiling the character of the cottage, i bet kids love them! Seaton is a friendly seaside town, and we loved walking down to the Read moreesplanade and swimming, though the pebble beach is challenging for staying on your feet, beach shoes are essential. Axmouth harbour is fascinating with a narrow fast flowing channel in and out. The tramway is a great way to see Colyton. And the walk to Beer is good, but shame the coast path fell in to the sea a few years back, alot of road walking involved to get back to the cliffs. Hide

Nice and warm, comfortable bed. Space is limited in kitchen so i would think a washing machine is more important than dishwasher. No baking tray for oven. If you did a hand wash no facilities to hang anything on, I run every day and kit needs a wash, so did it by hand but no where to hang it. We really had a lovely holiday and the cottage for us was brilliant. Location was excellent and parking is 1 minute away as the car park is behind on the next road. Steps inside cottage are steep but manageable. Very cute and compact, beds / sofas comfy and such a lovely garden to sit in for breakfast, lunch and tea. We had a lovely little holiday in Bluebell cottage. Great location in Seaton, just a few minutes walk to the shops, pubs and seafront with the added bonus of the car park just behind. Had a bit of confusion with the parking permit but that was soon sorted out for us. Great base to travel to nearby places like Beer, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and BridportRead more to name just a few.
