Jump in the car and a short journey will take you to the historic market town of Fakenham (3.5 miles). Nature lovers will love a day trip to visit Pensthorpe Natural Park (3 miles), Holkham Estate (12 miles), Norfolk Wildlife Trust Centre at Cley (12 miles) and Blakeney just 11 miles away where you can take a boat trip to see the country’s largest colony of grey seals. Norfolk has plenty of quaint villages and towns to visit including Burnham Market, Holt and Walsingham all within a 13 mile radius. The coastline of Norfolk is stunning and the traditional seaside resorts of Sheringham (17.1 miles) and Cromer (20.2 miles) and the harbour town of Wells-next-the-sea (11.5 miles) are within easy reach. Closer to home, is Thursford (3.8 miles), home to the famous Christmas Spectacular Show and a steam museum.
