A great wee cottage with everything you need. Everything is very clean and feels new. Thoughtful additions like milk in the fridge and Cornish shortbreads and fudge are really appreciated. Plush towels. Comfortable beds. Lots of space. Warm and private. Easy walk to the beach and to the coastal path. Shops in nearby town and any destination in CornRead morewall can be reached and visited in the day. We went to St Michaels Mount and St Ives and still made it back in time to make dinner. Hide

We have just returned from our week at beach comber. Absolutely loved it . Spotlessly clean and everything you could need although a slip mat in the bathroom is needed. The only regret we had was we should have booked 2 weeks . Will definitely be returning. Thank you to the owner for fudge milk and biscuits it was lovely to meet you.

Would highly recommend this cottage. Location wise the beach is literally a 5 minute walk down the road and there is also a lovely cafe there. We did miss being within a short walking distance to shops/pubs however Bude is only a 10 minute drive away. The cottage itself is lovely and modern and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner sRead moretopped by on our first day to check we had everything we needed which was as a really touch. The cottage surfaces and floors were clean on arrival however we did notice some cobwebs & dust around the property. The interior doors were extremely squeaky/noisy to close too (this would never usually be an issue however we came with our 7 month old son who woke at night everytime the bathroom & bedroom doors were opened and closed). These were the only small negatives and this wouldnt put me off recommending the cottage. Thank you so much for a lovely stay! Hide

We had a wonderful stay here. Every morning, rain or shine, we walked to the beach (about 5 mins away) to splash in the rock pools. The house is clean and furnished to a high standard. The owners also popped in to say hi on the first day, which was lovely. We would highly recommend staying here.

Beach Combers is the perfect location for anyone wanting a relaxing stay in a modern, comfortable property within 5 mins walk of an outstanding beach. The property is brand new and the modern feel was fantastic. The large open kitchen, dining and living area opens up onto an outside seating area with a small charcoal BBQ. The bathroom and bedrooms Read moreare ideal for a family of four (two adults, two children). The combi boiler ensures you never run out out of hot water, especially useful if you have all just returned from the beach! The kitchen has all the essentials with a washing machine and dishwasher. Although the kitchen was well equipped, the property could do with a tea pot, tray, a couple of additional chopping boards and some place mats. The local beach at Widemouth Bay is perfect for sandcastle making, relaxing, surfing, body boarding, rock pool hunting or just going for a swim. Life guards were on duty during our stay and the cafes provided a large selection of food and drinks. Bude, to the north, is about a 70-80 minute walk via the South West coastal path where you will find plenty of shops, restaurants and another fantastic beach (which is well sheltered for windy days). Overall, a great cottage in a great location. We all throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the property for a relaxing stay. Hide
