Property code: OC-A27352

A delightful annexe found on the edge of Helston in a hidden position, this stylish property is well-located for exploring the Helford area and the Lizard Peninsula as well as the wider West Cornwall area. Helston is market town with a strong history and the Museum of Cornish Life gives you the opportunity to explore 19th and 20th-century Cornish culture and industry. Take a walk around the boating lake in Coronation Park, hire a pedalo or pick up a coffee and cake from the park café. A fabulous walk through the beautiful footpaths and woods of the Penrose Estate takes you to Loe Pool - the largest natural freshwater lake in Cornwall. From Loe Bar you can join the coastal path and head towards Porthleven to the west or Gunwalloe Cove to the east. A range of local shops, restaurants and pubs are all within a short walk.

From the gravelled outside area, enter at ground floor level into a welcoming hallway with space to hang your coats. The modern, shower room is found off the hallway and to the rear is a lovely, fitted kitchen and dining room with additional features such as a DAB radio and a slow cooker – perfect for returning to a delicious meal at the end of your days out exploring. Space for four around the dining table allows for inviting friends to dinner or the flexibility of bringing a child to make use of the sofa bed option upstairs. The first floor rooms are built into the eaves creating a cosy ambience with a contemporary feel. The lounge area with a corner sofa (please contact us if you would like to use this for your stay, please note there is a £50 charge for the linen for the sofa bed) is a place to relax and the Smart TV gives you access to all your favourite shows. The spacious super-king-size bed is a luxurious feature in the bedroom and can be offered as two singles if preferred. With plenty of built-in storage, it’s a well-designed use of the space. Velux windows let plenty of natural light into the upper floor of this beautifully-finished annexe whilst ensuring privacy and comfort too. There is also a cloakroom with WC on this level.

The small garden area with the private parking space to one side is laid out with gravel and a mix of planting. It’s fully enclosed and adjacent to the owner’s delightful garden with privacy assured. In the main season, the brightly-planted hanging baskets are a colourful sight and with outdoor seating provided, this is a lovely area for sitting out with your favourite book or cold drink.

Well located within easy reach of many interesting sites in the Lizard and elsewhere in Cornwall. Short walk to town centre for pubs, cafes & restaurants. Very clean accommodation, well presented, useful literature for the area in the lounge.

We enjoyed our week at An Logh. The kitchen is well equipped and everything is spotlessly clean. As a base, Helston is in almost equal distance to the places in the south of Cornwall like The Lizard, Falmouth and Penzance and we enjoyed visiting these places and other places to like Portleven. The outdoor area is overlooked , but because of the weaRead morether we did not sit out there, but it has comfortable seating to be able to sit out. We have a Qashqai car and reversing it into the parking area was difficult and it was hard to get out of the car. We ended up parking in the local streets, which was much easier. It didn't spoil our holiday but it would have been good to know this was an option before we got there. We have a Labrador and although the place is small there was plenty of room for him and us. The owners were very friendly as were the neighbours whom we happened to speak to during out stay. The property is in a residential area, it is near to Tesco and some other shops and this was very handy. Hide

Everything was perfect expect for having to pay for internet access, which was not affordable with a charge by the hour. Mobile signal is weak at the annexe an we therefore had problems making calls. Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Property was clean and very well equipped.

We had an amazing stay at An Logh, it was immaculate very comfortable the bed was really comfy..and huge! The kitchen was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The shower room was gorgeous with a powerful shower, again spotlessly clean. The location is fab, we visited so many places from here, the super Tesco about 5 min walk away for all your nRead moreeeds. The weather was really kind to us for the whole week! The owners were very pleasant and chatty when we met them. Honestly would highly recommend this cottage, we were originally going to bring our little dog with us but unfortunately we lost her earlier this year, she would've been so well catered for here as well, comfy large doggy bed, dog treats and a safe enclosed garden with mesh on the gate so she wouldn't of been able to escape through or under it. Everything has been so well thought out and the attention to detail is fab. Hide
