Helebridge itself is quaint hamlet just 1.5 miles Southeast of Bude, and 2.5 miles from the glorious Widemouth Bay, meaning guests are never too far from the golden sands and turquoise waters that the North Cornwall coastline has to offer. Children are well catered for here, with the low tide revealing many rock pools to explore and long stretches of sand where sandcastles are waiting to be built. Guests can also join the rugged South West Coast Path, and follow the scenic trail all the way into Bude (2 miles) where you will find a renowned surfer’s paradise with three glorious sandy beaches, and a fantastic array of local shops and fine eateries. Slightly further afield, guests can visit some brilliant Southwest attractions such as The Milky Way Adventure Park (15 miles) and historic fishing villages such as Boscastle and Clovelly, both under 17 miles away.

Step up into this stunning Cornish escape where you will be greeted with fresh contemporary interiors and stylish open plan design, created to make you feel at home wherever you find yourself across the retreat’s spacious grounds. You will initially find yourself gliding through the porch and utility space, combined with underfloor heating this really is an ideal space to flick off those walking boots and hang wet coats after a day of exploring. This space leads to the downstairs hallway in one direction, and the open plan kitchen/diner in the other. The large kitchen area provides everything you need for a stress-free stay, whilst the dining table and accompanying breakfast bar combine brilliantly to supply a superb social space, allowing you to wine, dine and share your favourite moments of the holiday. Make your way through to the living area where you will find two long chic sofas, a pair of armchairs plus additional seating for all to sit and relax together in front of the Smart TV. When it comes to the bedrooms, guests are spoilt for choice. This home from home provides the added convenience of two downstairs bedrooms, one containing a king-size bed and accompanying en suite shower room, and the other a welcoming twin room that can be made into a super-king on request. Completing the ground floor is a beautiful downstairs bathroom, with walk-in shower and WC. Heading up the staircase will bring you to the remaining bedrooms, and further family bathroom. The two end bedrooms host commanding views over the canal and again, provide accompanying en suite shower rooms, whilst the remaining two bedrooms are separated by the final family bathroom, with shower over bath and WC.

Stepping out through the bi-fold doors in the kitchen/diner will lead you out onto the enclosed patio and lawn space. The patio provides ample outdoor seating, allowing you to relax along the Canalside with your favourite hot brew. There is also a BBQ and table tennis table offer guests a chance to seek out their competitive edge whilst the nominated chef cooks up a storm. The walkway wraps around the home leading back to the entrance.

We had a fabulous time with the family. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped. It was a bonus with our young grandchildren having the washing machine. It was a nice touch having the Christmas decorations. I would certainly recommend the house as a place to stay

An extremely fabulous home from home holiday rental. Beautifully furnished and equipped. The garden set out for family entertaining, the house too, with everything provided to produce and support the best experience. Quietly positioned by the canal, watching the squirrels, kingfishers, and all the birds in the garden, made for a peaceful start to each day. Apples from the tree for a crumble was a definite hit. We all slept well in comfy beds, and the spacious lounge allowed us to sit together. A beautiful, comfortable, a very well presented, provisioned and positioned house. We really enjoyed our stay at Helebridge House, we had everything we needed and more. The house is very spacious with a lovely garden and everything was lovely and comfortable. It was also perfectly situated for sightseeing in Bude and the surrounding areas

It was our second visit to Helebridge House & it had undergone a wonderful refurbishment & certainly had the wow factor! Beautiful decor, comfortable beds & well equipped kitchen. This property has everything. Plenty of games & a lovely big garden. The location being right on the canal was perfect for dog walks. Our second visit to this lovely home. Great to experience it in a different season. Two of the en-suite bathrooms had been tastefully updated. The house is well laid out and ideal for a mixed generational family. The house was super clean and the beds very comfortable. We enjoyed the lovely walks on our doorstep.

Helebridge House is perfect for a large group, plenty of room with a wonderful garden and very well equipped kitchen. The location is also perfect and we were able to enjoy walks into Bude and Widemouth Bay. Overall we had a great long weekend and would highly recommend this house.

The house was perfect for our family holiday. It was so well equipped and the position was perfect as we loved the walks into bude and on the coastal path. We also love the outside space and made good use of the table tennis and the fire pit.

This house was exceptionally equipped with kitchen equipment and also games, books and outside bbq, table tennis and badminton. The bedrooms were good sizes, the beds comfortable. The house itself is conveniently situated for walking or cycling into Bude along the canal or cycle track respectively. This was truly a home from home and set in a beautiful position between the river and canal. We found it very clean and equipped for a large family holiday. Very impressed with the patio seating area and large lawn area. The additional parking was very close too and easy to park. We will certainly come here again.

We had a lovely stay, it suited our 3 generation family so well, downstairs bedrooms for grandparents, twin beds for teenagers, really comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the table tennis and local walks along the canal. And lovely location to explore We literally cant fault it at all., definitely recommend. :-)
