This stylish 'countryside getaway' is in a great location for exploring the wonderful attractions to be found along the south coast of Cornwall. Trewhiddle is located on the fringe of St Austell Town in the Pentewan Valley. For walkers and cyclists, it’s not far from the Pentewan Valley Trail which provides a pleasant, mainly flat 3.5 mile route through glorious woodland with stretches running alongside the riverbank. From Pentewan it is possible to follow The Cornish Way cycle route to the Lost Gardens of Heligan or onto the picturesque fishing port of Mevagissey. A short drive (5 miles) brings you to the tropical biomes of the Eden Project that nestle in the crater of a reclaimed china clay pit and a day can be spent exploring the different habitats where your dog is welcome too. Local beaches include Pentewan Sands (4 miles), Carlyon Bay (2.7 miles), and Charlestown (2.2 miles).
From the garden enter this welcoming property into the utility room/boot room with the ground floor cloakroom leading off. Head on through into the kitchen/dining room with wooden floors, fully-fitted units, and beautiful quartz worktops – the perfect space for home cooking and leisurely mealtimes gathered around the dining table. Double-opening doors lead through to the perfectly-proportioned living room where the sun streams in and the peaceful countryside outlook creates an instantly relaxing feel. Fire up the wood burner and snuggle up in front of the Smart TV to watch a movie. A useful desk provides an ideal workspace for attending to your business whilst away. From the inner hallway a door leads to the front terrace and stairs up to the first floor. Three inviting bedrooms await you upstairs – a stylish king-size room with solid wood furniture, plenty of storage, and an en suite shower room. The second bedroom offers a double bed and views to the fields beyond and the third bedroom, again with countryside views is set up as a twin room but has the flexibility of being offered as a super-king-size room should that be required. Elegant antique furniture is a real feature of this room. The beautifully fitted family bathroom completes the first floor.
Outside there is an enclosed paved terrace to the front with views to the fields opposite with a bridle path that gives you a gentle mile walk to the quarry. To the rear there is a small lawn. Seating is provided in both areas so you can follow the sun throughout the day. There is also a garage available for extra storage such as bikes, kayaks, bodyboards etc.
