Escape to the best that Norfolk has to offer with a coastal getaway in this spacious family home in the small village of Waxham, a haven for wildlife and located in North Norfolk's Area of Outstanding Beauty. The Coastal Path is accessible here and will take you miles either north or south, with beaches that are sandy and wide. A Common Seal colony inhabits this stretch of the coast, and you can see seal pups over the winter months from November to February; the main colony is at Horsey Gap (1.5 miles). There are many nearby walks including a trail, which leads alongside a waterway that takes you in the direction of Horsey Mill (2.5 miles). The Broads offer 125 miles of waterways, nature trails and cycle routes to access, with Hickling Broad (4.5 miles) being the nearest to Waxham.

Surrounded by Norfolk countryside, this family-friendly former farmhouse is spacious both internally and externally, the property is perfect for a family gathering for all ages. The ground floor of the property has a large, refurbished lounge with oak flooring and underfloor heating and a lounge/diner, both with comfortable seating, Smart TVs, and one with an open fire and the other a woodburning stove. The formal dining area has a table with bench and chair seating, with plenty of space to enjoy a meal and quality time together. There is also a fully equipped kitchen/diner with everything needed to cook up a storm for the family. The utility room also acts as a boot room to dry out any soggy socks and wash off muddy paws after a day of exploring the coastline. There is also a ground-floor shower room for added convenience. Heading upstairs, you will be greeted by views of the sand dunes and countryside beyond, as well as four comfortable and airy bedrooms: one zip-and-link super-king-size which can be made up as twin beds if required, two doubles, and one single. You will also find a family bathroom, as well as a separate WC.

The property is nestled in its own large 2-acre garden, including a small piece of woodland as well as a patio area with large gas BBQ and seating for summer dining.

The photos on this website do not do the house justice. The house is beautiful and the gardens are stunning. The welcome package was a lovely and the chocolate cake was to die for. We will definitely go back and I highly recommend this farmhouse to others.

Poplar Farm house is a superb holiday accommodation. Beautifully laid out and exceptionally well equipped, with an extremely large garden to relax in. Fantastic location for the coast and the Broads. Louise and Martin were also wonderful hosts. All in all, one of the best holiday homes we've ever stayed in

Amazing holiday house. Very spacious with lots of room to relax. Stunning garden. Fabulous location for the beach and exploring the Norfolk coast.
