Southwold Ahoy is just a view steps to Southwold and and with views across Buss Creek marshes as far as the eye can see, the silhouettes of the old water tower and the iconic Southwold beach huts, this coastal haven for six is a peaceful and calm getaway. With the sandy shores of Southwold beach and pier just under a mile away, you will be chasing the waves or enjoying the utterly eccentric ‘Under the Pier’ amusements in no time! The excellent array of local and independent shops that Southwold has to offer are less than 0.5 miles away, making this the perfect base to explore this seaside gem from.

This charming upside-down property boasts accommodation for six guests across three lovely bedrooms – a super-king-size, a king-size and a twin.. The wonderful interior nods to its nautical name and location with subtle coastal features in the artwork, soft furnishings, and colour scheme. An en-suite shower room and a family bathroom with shower over the bath also sit on this floor.

Upstairs, there is a stylish fitted kitchen with all mod-con appliances including two dishwashers and a fridge with another separate fridge/freezer, a large dining table to seat everyone together and lovely views towards Southwold from the rear window. Here you can enjoy beautiful breakfasts, lazy lunches, or delicious dinners, with produce from the local shop just 100 metres away and fresh fish from the Sole Bay Fish Company. You’ll also find a handy cloakroom with WC and washing machine up here. The living room is the cherry on top for this property; as you enter, your eyes are drawn across the room to the French doors and out onto the private balcony, where a breathtaking view of Buss Creek awaits. Bring your binoculars and spot the abundance of wildlife that call this marvellous place home or just simply sit and revel in its beauty.

Outside, escape to your little piece of quiet on the balcony or in the enclosed courtyard garden which has a table and seating for six and a second area with two easy chairs and a low table perfect for placing your sundowners on!

The cottage and all the equipment was first class, even little touches like having cooking/ salad oil and milk, lovely biscuits and wine were provided on arrival. We had everything we need and really enjoyed the property. It was very handy to Southwold and easy to find. Its probably the best property we have stayed at! Marvellous!
