Lovely sympathetic barn conversion. Great size for our group of 3 couples. Its a great shame that the local pub is currently not serving food every day - it has an occasional pop up which is very good though. The pub is very welcoming for a drink and within easy walking distance. We enjoyed our stay as a group of 3 couples. Good to have a charRead moreger for electric cars as well. Plenty of parking. With a couple of small tweaks to storage that I have suggested it would be a perfect place to stay. Hide

As two couples with dogs we absolutely loved our stay at the Oat Barn. It was very well equipped and fitted out, the bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfy. Little touches all throughout made it very homely and theres plenty of walks nearby. The local pub was very friendly and we spent many an hour in there playing cards and chatting with the lRead moreocals. We found the local town of Clare to be all we needed to stock our fridge and we manage a couple of Indian food deliveries from Melford Valley Indian, which we all thought was great. The property was warm, in fact we turned the heating down as we found it too much but then we opened the windows and lit the wood burner, much cosier for an evening in playing board games. Our New Year break was very enjoyable and look foward to revisiting in the summer to make the most of the outdoor seating areas. Hide

Lovely barn conversion, beware of the.low doorways upstairs in bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. It would help if the area in question could be padded.

What a beautiful barn conversion! Set in a stunning location, it had everything we could need as well as being spotless. There was plenty of room for our party of 5 adults and 2 babies. A great pub was a short walk from the property which was a real bonus. There was a lovely welcome pack too which was much appreciated, many thanks to the owners.

The Barn was really warm, comfortable with excellent beds, bedding and towels. When we mentioned that we would have liked a cafetiere Jon went out and bought one. Lovely to have the open plan space so you were not isolated while cooking a meal. Also the desk was useful as one of us had to work one day. We would return.
